Likearollingstone
Last few pages pages everyone appears certain it's either: A) Prince, and everything will be great. It's supposed to be Prince, and Florence is gonna have to step in when he can't be bothered? Anything else need to be added to this or should I not bother reading back? The Nal
A great solo has to fit with mood of the song imo. if its prince just shredding as many notes as possible in a ridiculous solo, then i cba with it. the songs called while my guitar gently weeps ffs! but havent seen it yet so just assuming! Its mainly that yeah, with a few Hendrix moves thrown in. Great guitar player though. He is a massive Prince fan, so maybe they can sort something out. Eric's Favorited ever song is Purple Rain http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p009mdm4 Wow cool cheers!! Edit, also saw John Lee Hooker below that one! Likearollingstone
Bowie...... One can only hope then. I read a few years ago that his health is no longer much of an issue? Obviously I'm no doctor. Bowie would be brilliant.
FloorFiller
i can't tell you who it's gonna be, but i can sure tell you it ain't gonna be Bowie
Memory Man
TBH anyone who thinks it could be bowie is kidding themselves.... there is no way that is happening. don't get your hopes up. prince or florence is about right i think. I would be very surprised if its anyone but one of those 2 now.
Spindles
I can't tell you who it will be, but I can sure tell you it won't be Limp Bizkit.

Spindles
Yeah, until Matt42 tells me it's official I just can't get my hopes up for such behemoths of modern music.
Keithy
Obviously Prince divides opinion but he is arguably the last of the 'big headliners' that are left and never played. He would undoubtably put on an epic performance. Edited April 8, 2015 by Keithy
Frankly Mr Shankly
Obviously Prince divides opinion but he is argubaly the last of the 'big headliners' that are left and never played. Errrrm, are we forgetting about Madonna...
Chazeboy
has anyone else noticed that 6music is playing a hell of a lot more Prince in the last week or so than is their normal? I've been saying the same about pulp, not that I think headliner but maybe somewhere? Who knows
CaledonianGonzo
There's a few big fish left for them to land, but there's not very many of them. Prince isn't quite the Moby Dick of Led Zep, but of he's certainly of a Jabberjaws sort of size - along with yer Madges, AC/DCs and so on. dentalplan
I can't tell you who it will be, but I can sure tell you it won't be Limp Bizkit. Hmm. Is this something you've heard?
CaledonianGonzo
If Prince is Jabberjaws then Fred Durst is one of those wee candiru fish.

Spindles
Hmm. Is this something you've heard? Only if you count the voices in my head. Which I do. There are seven.

I reckon Madonna and AC/DC are both in prime position next year at the back end of their tours.
Rose-Colored Boy
Reading really isn't your strong suit is it i was comparing the fact that there is no reason why an active act cant do 60s coversDifference being, of course, the Mumfords needed to pad out their set with a cover because they only had two albums to pick from. Prince has no such trouble.
Keithy
Errrrm, are we forgetting about Madonna... Well I don't think she'd ever play and I don't think Glastonbury would approach her to either, which is why I said arguably. The rumours on here didn't really have any foundation. st dan
I still think Foos / Kanye / Prince are too strong to all be booked in one year. Especially with the number of available headliners reducing by the year.
LondonTom
We got the first selfie and thought "Not really my type but I can see why I've been paired up here", then we got the second selfie and thought "Oh heck! It's a right minger AND it looks like a horrible person" but we're going to our favourite restaurant so we're going to suck it up, go and hope there's someone much more attractive at another table? Following on from a post someone made yesterday. ... #Glasto2015 #glastonbury #pyramid she's getting her skin #itshappening /iaGRM0unRX Seems early this year! (Maybe not, but all this sort of thing seems earlier than other years while the lineup is later. Curious!) Errrrm, are we forgetting about Madonna... Trying to... Great guitar player though. yeah, i'm not usually one for fret-w*nkery, but i really enjoyed Prince in that. certainly livened up what was a fairly dull cover otherwise. Matt42
If they get prince I wonder if Led Zeppelin/Bowie will now be the act they ask every year and promise acts a 'bump up' if they say no.
