My summary

Someone on the Glasto FB page spoke to eavis and eavis said that it's not coming till June for contractual reasons. He has photos with eavis

Some woman went on holiday with no wifi for two weeks, came back to find her ticket had been cancelled and she's very angry with Glastonbury.

I posted the link to lollapalooza simply because they said they had a headliner they could not confirm till June 1st

End

Apparently she didn't, she's tweeting see but I doubt they are gonna do anything about it

I'm sure 'first week of April' has been up for months, wouldn't have been difficult to ask a family member/friend to sort it out.

Think that's probably her fault rather than See's or GFL's, unfortunately.

It quite clearly states "You will be sent a reminder email when the deadline is approaching. However, ultimately you are responsible for paying your ticket balance" in the booking confirmation email. Entirely her own fault IMO. Edited by Zac Quinn

Mentioned a number of times and unlikely.

But the only one of the even possible bands likely to get me to the Pyramid.

Almost certainly a year too early.

But...

...with the announcement seemingly being pushed back and back, it's obviously related to Radiohead's progress with the new record.

So that's all good, then.

There's quite a few idiots giving the See twitter account a lot of stick because they were getting error messages when trying to pay off their balances... yesterday evening. Past the deadline. I feel sorry for whoever runs the See twitter tbh as there's some not nice stuff being said about them, rather unfairly imo.

I get that they apparently can't announce the 3rd headliner for contractual reasons, but just to have a few names would be nice!! Part of the fun of Glastonbury is listening to some albums by acts on the lineup to prepare for the festival!! Especially John Peel where it's up and comers I may not have heard. If they don't release until June it will be a nightmare because I can't logistically listen to the entire lineup's worth of music in three weeks!! ARGH!!

For me, it has to be Prince if they're delaying it until June. If it was a problem with one of these acts being announced at another festival as an exclusive, like Macca perhaps, they'd surely just announce it as a TBC like last year. Where Prince is concerned, didn't he pull out last year due to some bullshit about his name being thrown around? If the third headliner is TBC on the initial poster again, everyone is going to be talking about Prince. He knows this, and Glastonbury know this, so it sounds as though he has Glastonbury by the balls, making sure they know that he will pull out if there's any more speculation towards him headlining. It would also explain why everyone around the festival and the artist has been so hush on the matter, not allowing it to leak.

If the word gets out and he does pull out, Florence will step in.

That's my take on it anyway. I'm off to grab some beers.

The ironic thing is that i bet you so many more Glasto ticket holders are more annoyed about the lineup delay than they are at Kanye West

    • Same here, or Def Leppard, in fact any heavy rock would do me, but Mrs C wants Robbie or DD. Our glasto negotiations what to see are usually interesting😊😉😊

    • I'd be up for some Bon Jovi in this slot
    • It must be the only slot they haven’t already played. Expect them to be running the dodgems next year.
    • Same drama as last year but got there in the end.  Had to purchase one ticket at a time, still worked out around 15 euros cheaper per 3 day pass than last year though so no complaints!
