I'm beginning to think this year, we've actually had the announcement. Foo Fighters, Kanye and Lionel Richie are just going to be doing 11 hour sets on the Pyramid!

Indeed, I hear Lionel Richie can play all night long alright!

Tuesday would be the only logical possibility before the payment window closes

And if they did plan to release it last night then surely they'd still want to get it out before the payment window closes.

I'm 36 years old, Christmas doesn't really excite me much any more. But this is what I felt like on Christmas eve as a kid.

Haha maybe willing. He looked like he wanted to tell the world everything but obviously couldn't... He still loves it.

I like Michael. Never met him or anything but seems like a really nice bloke.

Must be so hard not saying anything when you have all these amazing acts booked for your festival. I would be rubbish. I'd probably be on here telling everyone everything hahah

Monday is still a possibility too - in the papers for Tuesday morning, plus on Monday it will be all over the internet and people will be off/recovering from the long weekend.

I can understand not doing it today/Saturday/Sunday as people will probably be away, or off doing things.

Monday's also a bank holiday.

Last night I had a dream that I turned up to Glastonbury not knowing any of the remaining lineup.

Not having had a chance to research any of the acts on Spotify, I didn't know anyone who was playing, so I just resorted to sitting in the circus Big Top watching cabaret acts. However, unbeknownst to me, there was only a three day performance by that guy who hooks his nipples up to a car battery.

Dream Glastonbury is weird.

Can we have the lineup now please.

Monday's also a bank holiday.

i know, but it's the very end of the long weekend, so most people will be home and sitting around, and Tuesday is a normal news cycle day so makes sense to have it out on Monday in time for Tuesday tv/media/papers*, as well as the closure of the balance window.

*although you may argue how relevant papers actually are anymore in this world of 24hr news cycles on TV/online, but anyway...

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
