This whole 'dropping' mularky, you know "dropping her album", "dropping the line up", where does that come from?

It seems a fairly new thing to me, one which I've added to my list of irrational anoyances.

From a great height? PR stunt init, Kanye etc. climb to the top of the Shard and drop the first few promo copies that are pressed.

Similar with the Glastonbury line up, the Eavi drop the names from a passing plane in February and they have the staff treasure hunt them to make up the poster. Which is why its a variable date every year.

Am torn between hoping for Madonna or P*****...and worrying that it is Foals.

I feel we've has our big headline announcements and the third headliner will be announced with the rest of the line up in an attempt to avoid a backlash.

there's someone every minute claiming the lineup is dropping soon.

This guy has just posted the lineup is coming at 6pm and people are all believing him... even though he's like the 800th person this week to claim inside knowledge...

In the michael eavis question and answer session at the end of last year I asked about P..... and Michael said he was not allowed to talk about him , so even with Michael not having input in the bands booked ( as some think ) maybe I shouldnt believe all thats said in this regard . Im still going to go with the purple one ( just the way he said it and maybe I cant read body language )

That news came today, it was tour dates with them going on sale tomorrow.

      No dramas man, I just like to follow others journeys as well. Get the inspiration, give out inspiration and the outdoors is the clear the head place to do it. I'm heading out for a easy trail run today I think, 10k- 10 mile we'll see how we go. I've got a half marathon in October I'm well unprepared for hahs

      The Cheap Thrills at Mountford Hall, Liverpool.    They've been around for a while and have built up a large local following. Last night was their biggest yet, at a sold out 2,200 capacity venue.    It was a big old joyous, indie singalong from start to finish, the band clearly having the time of their lives. The debut album is out next month and they seem to be going down well on the festival circuit, maybe their time has finally come.   2 supports, I unfortunately missed Credits but the few songs they have on Spotify sound good, Americana vibes. The other was M60, reportedly Gary Neville's favourite band. If that's true, he's as clueless about music as he is football. To be fair, their sound was poor, maybe with a clearer sound they'd have been better but it was pretty dull.

      I can see them all merging along with the Tory’s . Restore curently couldn’t muster enough candidates to be a viable option . I lasted 4 mins and couldn’t watch any more . Lowe is just dull along with racist
