i'm a long time lurker on here, ive seen enough to relaise that people on here dont have a sense of humour. i for one find techguy or baggyroses whoever he is, quite amusing. His outburst the other week was crazy tho

He's a homophobe. If you find that funny go back to lurking.

Just as i'd started settling in, someone has to come along with another negative comment :(

He did call someone a "faggot", on a public forum. I doubt many people would do that knowingly to a stranger in public, so why on a public forum? And he did it after trolling the forum for a good 6 hours. Which, for the record, I personally found quite funny. It was the sudden outburst of rage and homophobia that most people took offense to.

oh gosh. are you flirting with me?

i know i'm having a terrible day

Sorry Feline, I knew my cream comment sounded a bit off. I'm happily married to Mrs Boopickle, so you are safe from me. I would love to meet up with all you funny interesting people though.

Me and Mrs Boopickle don't get to Glastonbury until Thursday. Will there be a meet up that day?

I reckon the Sunday Pyramid stage booker has gone on his/her holidays and it is on their to do list when they get back.

Or they have booked them but the post it note with the name on has been mislaid and no one in GFL can locate it !

    • Hmm, weird- Rush are playing the Co-Op live on the 12th and the 14th, and Megadeth are the meat in that sandwich - so they have to roll everything in, roll it out again, only to roll it back in and then out - here's hoping for a prog hokey-cokey with all manner of bizarre time signatures and drum solos!
    • Depends what you mean by seeing 'more stuff' about it.    I definitely don't trust the original Sun article.

    • Chill. There is no chance Sziget will be cancelled by the government. Even the prime minister held a press conference today, where he confirmed this.   Magyar said they do not want to shut down the country or prevent events from taking place. He gave the example that vetoing an event would be like completely cutting off a large consumer’s electricity supply for the organizers. However, just as they have not taken such a measure against large consumers, they have not taken steps to cancel events either. (Magyar did not name a specific event, but he was presumably referring specifically to the Sziget Festival.) At the same time, Péter Magyar stressed that if disruptions occur in the system or the heatwave persists, it could become necessary to postpone or reschedule events (example: some Hungarian football games will probably be held in daylight, moved to a few hours earlier, to save energy), although he believes there is currently little chance of that happening. This is particularly true for events that rely entirely, or largely, on their own energy sources.
    • If the campervan field residents aren’t allowed to cut through orchid they’ve got a brutal walk on their hands.   otherwise not too many surprises
