As for it not being the same as before with how easy it's been leaked, maybe they're just doing better this year?

In the past, Glastonbury hasn't cared if bands announced themselves, or other shows, or anything else.

From things said this year, it's clear that a different instruction has gone out.

a quick look over the last few hours posts has led me to believe we are all fucking mental.

Yeah I feel like I've got cabin fever.

And it's only Tuesday!! Probably got at least 4/5 days until we get annoucement.

What will tomorrow bring.......

Well this has certainly shook things up. I want to believe FM moved to Sunday is because of the P****e thing, but I'd be really disappointed if she headlined because a) I dislike her and b ) I brought info here that she's subbing Foos and if that doesn't happen my reputation around these parts would be shot down before it even got going

This thread is nuts! I'm fucking nuts, not interested in headliners, never watched a Pyramid headliner in all the times I have been- yet here I am all day on here!

However if (when?) The Cure are announced as the 3rd headliner - Pyramid here I come :-)

i've thought this week for several weeks, and have posted that a few times already.

But it might be next week, I don't know either way. If it is next week I think Monday or Tuesday are the most likely.

I posted Thursday the other day to get in before IOW? Say for example IOW had Prince as well, would Eavis need to agree for someone reason to let IOW have the limelight 1st?

    • I read a reliable source saying there's not enough time to stress test and have worked through any major financial decisions between now and then.   So guarantees this budget will just be tinkering at the edges only.
    • Thanks @sisco. Looking forward to it!
    • Looking like will be bringing a 2-3 month old to Glastonbury next year
    • Healey's first budget with be Oct 28th
    • Been going for 10 years. Wasn't massively keen on the lineup beforehand - although as usual after some research I did start to really look forward to it. We had a brilliant time, felt more like old school Latitude, lovely vibe and we met some nice people. We saw loads but highlights for me -   Lime Garden Florence Road Jalen Ngonda David Byrne - Not a fan of him or TH really but we went out of interest and it was one of those festival shows that you'll never forget. The staging was off the scale. Eleni Drake - Up on BBC Introducing, what a haven that stage is.  Westside Cowboy Getdown Services - Probably highlight of the weekend for me. Absolutely brilliant and have booked tix for them in Bristol next year. Everything Everything - They're my favourite band so I loved it when they were added. A great start to Sunday and met loads of their fans up near the front. Alex James Britpop - We enjoyed it and Gary Stringer FFS! David O'Doherty - Saw him twice, brilliant as usual. Self Esteem - Adore Rebecca and the show was as live affirming as always.   Overall, it was such a brilliant weekend. Beforehand we said that we might give it a miss next year but I'm pretty sure that we'll be sucked right back in!
