If it is photoshop, it was done quite quickly - the screenshot was taken while the reader was on page 877 of this thread, which if was the most current page on the thread was some time between 3.37pm-4.01pm.

The first attempted post of the screenshot was 4.13pm. Given that the bet was placed at 4.03pm, I'm no photoshop pro so is ten minutes enough to knock it up?

I've no idea on photo editing. It could be legitimate. However, when zoomed in onto the photo the number "1" in the odds "11" have slightly longer top part than the number "1" in both the Stake ("100") and the Pot. Returns ("1100"). I've never bet on Betfair so I don't know if they have different fonts for their numbers. Seems a bit unusual though.

just got back from work to see all of this. Who ever commented saying they know me and I'm a troll account is actually trolling themselves. Like i said i have nothing to prove to you lot, just wanted to share the news. Why would i photoshop a bet slip? i don't even know how to use photoshop or ever have it on my computer.

Where abouts on betfair did you place the bet? The only Glastonbury options I can find are six different bets relating to Kanye West's performance

My friends brother does guitar tuning shit or whatever for the roses and has told me they are sunday night headliners as he has been hired again.

He told me about the warrington gig and got me on the guest list before it was announced so i have no reason not to believe him again

Brand new poster comes on with somewhat sketchy info, places a bet at vastly higher odds than anyone else can find with a bookmaker that doesn't actually appear to have a headliner market open and you wonder why people are sceptical?!

We've been stung before. Plus I just REALLY want you to be telling the truth.

I have reason to believe the betting slip is genuine. He has made a bit of rookie mistake.

Which suggests it is genuine.

What's the mistake? I had a guy on live chat who directed me to their Glastonbury section but all I can see is Kanye bets

Well, people said they were sceptical because it was a new poster...

This isn't a joke is it? Because I would believe you and you weren't telling lies about Metallica last year.

    • If the rumours coming out of the U2 camp are correct (big stadium world tour) then think they're more likely to do Wembley, Twickenham, etc as they'll be able to bring their own production and typically like to go big.
    • I was thinking big London date and lots of smaller ones.
    • I don't think they are too big for Castlefield these days. They've not had a new album for almost a decade and they like playing smaller venues. Maybe multiple nights is another option as they do like residencies
    • Second half of next week I would expect for stage times.
    • made a last minute decision to go to Belladrum festival.   it was absolutely wonderful.   never been before, to be honest I think I was expecting a stage in a field and a burger van, but its nothing at all like that.   the site is beautiful, its small enough to get around, but big enough that there are things to discover round each corner, there are a good number of small stages tucked away.   you could quite easily convince yourself you were in Glastonbury in places.   I may have only been one time, but already learned a valuable lesson - the site itself may be Glastonbury like, but the "general camping" campsite is very much Reading like! as the morning mist rises... its a view like the Do Lung Bridge scene in Apocalypse Now...   so if you are not 15 years old, go to family or quiet camping which is fantastic.   its a real family friendly festival to - loads of families and kids of all ages running round and stuff for them to do.   I would 100% recommend it, and I really can't see any reason why I wont be going back next year!   🙂
