You clearly don't know the rules.

First rule of headliner thread is: Get excited whenever Neil writes something

Second rule: Read between the lines of anything he says

Third rule: If you still can't find something which excites you, manipulate it until it satisfies you.

Fourth rule: Repeat.

That was a general comment, that Glasto would only book acts they want to headline to headline.

I'm on the trail of something but if/until I get further with it I've no idea if its a done deal or even if what i've heard is right.

Does it have anything to do with the suppose leak of the UK/European tour of Kanye and Rihanna?

Rihanna name is listed in the Glasto rumours page as well

Good god that would be the best glastonbury headliner ever :P

Unless they do their own shows, the fact they are not at wireless makes things more interesting :P

That would be amazing so I'm not getting my hopes up as it would sure lead to dissapointment!

Kanye headlined two nights at Wireless last year and made a bollocks of it so it probably wouldn't be the greatest idea. :P Plus Rihanna sells out stadiums bigger than Finsbury Park doesn't she?

It won't be a joint set. I think either are a fairly good shout considering they're touring but if you squint, it says March for one of the tour dates. Wrong day too.

Though that also says Tuesday march 11 - whereas March 11 is actually a Wednesday, so whatever that schedule is under the flyer is probably from last year

yep. a tour beginning in 5 weeks time that hasn't even be announced? probably fake.

still think Rihanna has a good chance for Glastonbury headliner though.

I don't think rihanna is likely if taylor swift is likely.

Kanye could more likely as he's different from both foos and taylor.

I honestly think he would have headlined last year if wireless didn't book him as exclusive!

    • Judging by last night at Wembley, Luke Combs should be in the conversation of headliner. The UK is having a moment with country music so I don't think it would be particularly left field either.
    • Just listed on Twickets
    • It feels really busy this year, loads of big groups of youngsters too. Slightly different vibe to previous years I've been. As with Tramlines, they're very chatty during sets and there's a constant stream of them in and out of the crowd... definitely feeling my age 😂   The Quarry stage I think is a lot smaller than previous years - seems similar size to Squid/Leadmill. Some sets have been difficult to get in.   I think I've reached my limit with mid-tier indie guitar bands. There's been quite a few this weekend where I've gone over to see them then walked away after 20 mins. Surprisingly, enjoyed the Fratellis set the most in this genre. Probably getting on for 20 years since I last saw them. Wasn't expecting them to do Yes Sir, I Can Boogie, which was fab!   Hugely enjoyed the Happy Mondays yesterday, and same but different with Radio Free Alice who I saw again on Friday, following Tramlines last weekend. A big run of pop acts today - Scissor Sisters will be fantastic!
    • I have a spare campervan pass to get rid of.  unable to use Kaboodle as it is only entry that they re-sell
