I think people forget the fact that the majority of Glastonbury attendees purchase their tickets before any announcements are made of confirmed artists. So to say that Oasis performing will bring a load of "typical" Oasis fans is completely irrelevant, because no it won't.

I'd personally love it to be Oasis. I've always loved them. I think their music is great (and not just Wonderwall etc).. I've never had a chance to see them live before. It would, personally, make the festival for me.

Granted, part of me is thinking they may be a bit of a disappointment, everyone is aware of their reputation. But hey, that's rock and roll, isn't it?

I do, however, think it's unlikely they will play. Although whether that's just me trying not to get my hopes up.. who knows?!

IF they ever reform, it should be at least another 5 - 10 years in my mind otherwise it stinks of them purposefully splitting up in order to reform for the money.
