Whether it's this year or not, they should play Glasto if they want money.

They should play Glasto, see a 10,000% increase in sales, get the world talking about them again, then announce a tour the same week, where tickets for as many dates as they'd like to play will sell out in 5 mins.

They don't need to do this to sell out gigs, but it's highly effective.

Arctic Monkeys announced a UK tour the day before they were shown to millions on the BBC putting in a very good performance. Tickets went on sale the week after and they could have sold out those arenas four times over. They'd have sold out the tour without the coverage, but their sales increased tenfold, the new album has gone down a storm compared to their third and fourth, and they've even cracked America off the back of it all.

I know this is just pure speculation, but could there have been a chance that they just saw that Glasto hadn't announced the Saturday night headliner, so they gave a phone call to the farm and was like 'we're thinking of reforming, want us for your saturday headliner'.

This is probably highly unlikely, and I don't really like Oasis, but they must be on good terms with Michael and Emily, considering Beady Eye did do a secret set last year.

Wow was that 2004?

I'm surprised it was that long ago, but it was certainly the set which started with rock n roll star.

It was a good laugh as long as you were in the right mood and enjoy their songs.

I'd be surprised to see them go from that to headlining 10 years later, but some years they seem to pride themselves on choosing unpredictable headliners :)

To be honest what the Entertainment news man said in his section was alot of what has been put on here.

He stated that the Bookies have all suspended betting, he said that there have been roumors for a while that they were going to reunited and that its 20 years since definiatly maybe.

So eFestivals looks to be there Source!

But for Radio One a part of Glastonbury with the BBC to come out a quite clearly say that its very likely to happen should be adding coal to the fire not taking it away!

I'd say What's the Story anniversary shows next year are more likely. There were rumours of special gigs planned prior to the 15th anniversary (before the split).

The reunion will happen eventually - too soon now though.

I've no interest in seeing them, especially after hearing Liams voice during that Beady Eye set last year. However, I'd like them to headline even if its just to wind up all the arseholes complaining about Oasis fans on here. Same old story every time, if you like Oasis you're a bucket hat wearing c**t that chucks piss about. And probably northern.

Either way I'll be watching Dexys.
