Kasabian and Oasis at the same festival would be hideous, they'd have to expand the festival to fit in all the massive egos and I can hear people chanting their "anthems" now, aaaaaaaahhhhhhh AHHHHHH NOOOooooOOOO, please GOD nOOOOOoooo!!

"AAAANNNDD BAAABBBY, YOU'RE GONNAAAAA BEEEE THEE ONE THAT SAAAAVVVVEEESS MEEEE..."

Horrible, horrible, horrible.

Aint one of Oasis split from there All saints wife. Over a love child. . 2 child maintainances to pay. Maybe property to split. So maybe looking for extra cash. More time on his hands. And msybe wants to get on the road to find a new missus. All saints are reforming since the split.

I expressed such an opinion in one of the bars last year to my mates and a guy who overheard me promptly told me to "f*** off you c***". From that point on I realised dislike for Wonderwall is tantamount to sacrilege

For me it's about far more than the song, which I think is alright on its own. Trouble is, it was massively overplayed and now sits alongside memories of lads singing arm in arm, bucket-hatted and pissing in cups. It was also the go-to song for the people who went to their gigs and hung around just to hear one or two songs. That's why I can't stand it - the song became bigger than the band when seriously great tunes like Fade Away, Rocking Chair, Cast No Shadow, Coumbia (I could go on) were forgotten about. The very fact that Wonderwall became a blueprint for Noel was the reason Oasis became so plodding, constantly chasing the big singalong anthem in a bid to reclaim their former glories.

I've been speaking to a few people who do go to glastonbury but don't bother looking at rumours an stuff and they are certain it's happening, I've said it won't but they won't have it. I've also had a lot of 'you would have to watch them though'.

I wouldn't

    • 1000% agree with this. I was there last night, ridiculous how good he was.
    • Hi Everyone!   I need your help. I'm trying work out who was playing at The Wishing Well at 3am on the Monday morning at the 2025 festival - this was once the official setlist had ended. The music was down tempo, bass heavy, kept evolving, just mesmerising. Anyone have any ideas? and/or was there as well?
