Jimmy Cliff has been in the area in the past and not played the festival, so I wouldn't count on it.

Me, I'd love him to play and I desperately want to hear him explore more of his back catalogue rather than give us the same sings every time.

Not sure if your local but he's playing o2 academy in bristol in september (i think), you might be more likely to get the lesser known songs at one of his own gigs than the typical crowd pleasing festival setlist. I might be wrong though

thanks, i'd not seen that date, and I've not seen a non festie show to know if he does a different set, so that'll be worth checking out. :)

Think I got the worst chunk of their set but PSB were pish when I saw them on the OS a couple years back. It was charmless guff. LOVED their performance on the Pyramid from years back though. Fabulous cameo from Dusty.

If you are talking about 2000 I think it was Cerys Matthews who did the Dusty bit if memory serves me right

You'll all be shocked to hear that Biggles Wartime Band have confirmed on Facebook. Just Croissant Neuf on the Wednesday afternoon at 2pm so far.

I don't know what to be more shocked about, them playing Glastonbury or them being on Croissant Neuf :P

    • yes, but it will be called a care tax...much nicer name...and they will bin inheritance tax which no one likes even though most people don't pay it....and it will be used to pay for your granny. Burnham is obviously the saviour and will win labour another landslide because he's nice northern lad and not some sir c**t from surrey.
    • Hey, I correctly predicted the entire Bizkit Main Stage day months in advance 😝
    • Its just going to be another dementia tax isn't it? The issue is this is going to be seen as a continuation of the labour government that have already raised taxes 1000% above manifesto promises.
    • One thing that Burnham has been talking about is scrapping inheritance tax and replace it with a social care levy ... which would be less progressive, but might be a good idea if was a solution for the social care crisis. Would need to sell it well to a public who would prefer not to pay more tax.
    • Maybe you should put your name forward to be Burnham's chancellor.
