NY would be a dream for me, but for the locals and e.g. My 2 kids that are coming Sunday, it would be a real disappointment. I think the "casuals" would go for stand in, perhaps Ted comes on and says hi.

The poster who said "would we notice", I thought that too, but then googled him up and of course he does all the standing up double bass stuff, bounces around a lot, it would be different without him.

Difficult call, selfishly I would like NY or Prince, but for the day visitors and the folks who have been looking forward to them, I think Mumfords with a borrowed bass player is the pragmatic solution. It will be loud and familiar.
