Bigdog has checked his sources this morning just for you, and reports the following:

1. The rabbit scut that he ate had little moisture with a slight grassy aroma, indicating that the wind had been drying it out overnight.

2. The horse near the sports field had a full fly sheet on and scared the beejasus out of him, indicating that the owner thinks that flies will be a problem today.

3. His ears were flapping were at times flapping in the breeze, indicating that the drying wind is still with us and that he has huge lugholes.

4. The sun is coming out necessitating a period of rolling about on his back with his rope toy wrapped around his head.

in summary, all is good. He is a real time dog that lives for the weather now and deals with it as it happens, rather than worrying about what it may or may not do later. Not a bad way to approach it really.

4.

This is the forecast I am sticking on. I don't care anymore as it will be bloody brilliant whatever the weather, but this would be my perfect festival weather!

EDIT: I say I don't care but I will still be checking this thread every 20 minutes for another update

Amusing to see that Q Daily from 2005 - in 2007 their weather forecast was for light showers as they promised 'no repeat of Brown Friday' - instead we got 'Shit Saturday' followed by 'Shocking Sunday' and then 'Mudslide Monday'

    • For what it's worth, this is the current speculative clashfinder (don't take it entirely as read but...) with the acts we have day confirmations for highlighted.   Thursday   Friday   Saturday   Sunday
    • As in previous years, I've compiled a big playlist for this, covering the whole lineup with the songs each act has performed most over the past year or so (so far as possible). I'll share it here in case anyone finds it useful:     (And I'd had the foresight to include Geese even before today's announcement!)
    • I think some of the car parking will be used for camper van, but I don't think all pitches will be replaced.
    • Day 0 will there be any more acts announced? Or is it just going to be the 3?
    • Yeah certainly missed a trick or 2. Probably down to a mixture of cost and schedule.    Way out West, Oya and Solen work well as a package for a lot of bands. Which means Sziget misses out on quite a few headliners. Although on occasions they have done Sziget and the above festivals.
