As last year's thread was my personal favourite of the year I thought I'd start the year off with the Idles/Danny Brown collaboration that I've really enjoyed.

Already got tickets for their Glasgow gig, hope they do get to play Glasto again. Enjoyed their performance on the other stage. Nice bit of Americana on a sunny afternoon.

New synthpop track from IDER, album coming in Feb.  For those who like them this has some heavy Yumi Zouma vibes to it.  Lovely stuff.

They were the closing act at End Of The Road for me last year, brilliant end to what was an excellent festival.

Yeah, I've given the record 2 or 3 spins and loved it, happy that they've not plundered the EPs to pad out the new record, with only 2 songs being previously released.  You're not from around here stuck out to me as being the standout track of the new material (Big d*ck Energy aside, which is one of their best).

These had completely slipped under my radar, but really liking the three songs they have put out so far .. thanks for the heads up!

 

Looking forward to the album release now, and will keep an eye out for seeing them live this year at some point!

They've a few older EPs on Spotify, they have a few dates lined up for March.

Enjoyed Lambrini Girls, but tbh not an album I'm hugely likely to go back to. Just not a style of music that I listen to at home, but would def be all over seeing them live.

Definitely catch them live if you can, it's raucous, fun, life affirming stuff.
