I don't think we will see Oasis at Glastonbury 2026, wouldn't mind being proved wrong though

Tbf we're not seeing anyone at Glastonbury 2026 as there isn't one.

Lol.

But yeah, I also don't think Oasis will be at Glastonbury 2027. I think they'll still take a "see us at our own shows" approach.

I'm beginning to think the same.

I think they'll take the big payday and sack off Glastonbury.

If Oasis so not I think that makes Foos a much stronger bet but I still think both will do it.

Eh I feel like its one or the other. Not least as I think Sam Fender is also a shout for the rock headliner, although I'm aware he doesn't quite have the back catalogue.

It might well be, but I think they'll have both if they can and they are definitely one of very few if not the only festival who could get in one year. The only other is Coachella probably because oasis aren't as big over there but given it sold much better with Karol G than Green Day the chances are remote.

If Fender is about again then I woukd say he's in the mix but as a rock headliner is questionable lol. Also, just no haha

The biggest eye opener there is for considering $650 for a Coachella weekend for anything else as crazy is a crowd crowd just standing there with a phone absolutely motionless when Madonna comes out to do one of her biggest hits with Sabrina. In the UK we would go bad over that, over there they still act like it's the winner of a talent competition opening up at midday.

Going with Fred again.., Olivia Dean & Harry Styles.

Foos to do a bigger stadium run and Oasis to play a thousand nights at Knebworth.

I can see something like this

Maybe Fontaines instead of Fred

I could unfortunately see it too, when the time comes they decide to book that trio in one year it'll be a time when ticket day really isn't a problem as much. The bonus however will be end of June is a great time for a holiday out of the school holidays or Werchter the week after if they have a return to form.

I still think Sabrina Carpenter is very likely

So do I, I think she's front runners for the female slot purely by the fact she's doing nothing in the UK this year while a lot of other options are not only doing festivals but on the back end of multiple years of runs too.

Olivia Dean for me has appeared too many times recently, I think Raye is too soon after subbing only the last festival.

I think while there are many female options now, Glastonbury is potentially returning on the wrong year for many, had it been on this year and not a fallow it's a bit different.

Chappell has an outside chance but Sabrina hype I think would be the favourite for them to go for first.

Did anyone hear Noel G on the radio today, he's writing plenty, could be for oasis, could be not for oasis (definitely is)

I think he's smart enough to realise that the majority of people paying hundreds of quid to see Oasis at a stadium actively don't want to hear something new.

I mean, the tour featured exactly one track taken from their last four albums combined.

Whilst I agree, and I also say this as someone who loved most of the HFB stuff - how does he go back to that (same applies to Liam) after the Oasis hysteria?

Surely it would just be a fart in the wind at this poiny?..

Would anyone be interested in a predictions competition -   maybe 1 year out -   Where we all take a guess of 5-10 of the bigger slots in the festival that we revisit when the line up is out

It might be a guess of the below (im open to tweaks)

1) Headliner 1

2) Headliner 2

3) Headliner 3

4) Legend)

5) Other Headliner

6) Pyramid Sub

7) West Holts Headliner

😎 Woodises Headliner

9) Park Headliner

10) Free pick (counts as correct in any of the above)

Give me some feedback here - and if its positive il start a separate thread for it?

also no matter what i do number 8 is smiling

    • I think a Take to the Skies set would probably be the thing that gets me to go to this. Couldn't give a f**k whatelse is on there if that happens.   Feel like Knocked Loose might be too big by that point.
    • Issac Wood in support????   A lot here to digest
