Why no chance?

Collin has a couple of weeks break form Nick Caves tour right around Glastonbury.  All the rest are available.

Why couldn't they play?

(I'm determined to keep the dream alive)

Technically they could pop up somewhere, as could Kate Bush, Led Zeppelin, Madonna and ABBA.

Got a family member who works for Ticketmaster and they’ve said they’ve heard nothing about a Radiohead tour.

I doubt there's much to be read into there. Given how absolutely awful things have become with Ticketmaster and their monopoly on the industry, I would expect RH to be avoiding them. They can keep what they want, we want none of this.

Helpful but not the same as somebody who book venues and such. Theyre the ones who you really need to give insight. Ticket sellers are the last ones to know.

Mmmm. Good point there. I wonder if they will rearrange Raye's slot to make room for Radiohead?

I mean that is live on the web today.  if there was any chance it would happen it would have already been taken down.

Dont get me wrong I love Radiohead, and think it would be great if they played - but they are not sub-headlining for Neil Young and probably not playing Glastonbury at all this time around.

Why are you so sure Radiohead are going to sub Shakey? Zero chance of that happening

It's simple.  Neil Young is better off in the Legend Slot than Rod, who has no songs that anyone under 30 knows.  Rod moves to Acoustic Headliner.  Then with the Pyramid headline slot free, Charli XCX moves to fill it and Radiohead headline the Other Stage.  Lekkido Lord of the Lobsters moves to headline the Levels, Bicep Chroma move to Avalon, Mike Artistik headlines the Dragonfly and Top Gear, the Prime Minister and University Callange headline The Park as usual.

    • Stadium gig/s 100% 2027.   As for the offer - dunno what to think. The source is very well placed and, to me, the timing checks out - I'm basing that on the stadium gigs coming after an arena tour... coming after a new record... following a record that propelled them to the next level.   As I keep saying with any info I've shared for Glastonbury next year, though, none of it feels nailed to me.    I assume that they're doing a half decent job of keeping things quiet (still early, I guess). It's all little bits of stuff doing the rounds in the industry. There's none of it that I'd hang my hat on right now. The bits I've shared - I thought they were worth sharing, given the source. Chat about Madonna, the Fontaines snippet, chat about Fender.    A gun to my head right now - Madonna would still be my number one bet. More of a gut feeling, but I feel like the recent doubt may be the festival and/or her people trying to calm the noise a bit after the Graham Norton slip, rather than a u-turn.
    • Have settlers people started receiving their car park passes? I was sure I had bought one, but cant find a receipt for it and nothing through the post yet.
    • @northernangel Are Wolf Alice not in the conversation? They just did a sold out Finsbury Park to 45,000 people, if they're ever gonna get the push it's now.
