That seems very un-radiohead thing to do. Can't see them doing an album anniversary show ever either.

My guess is there is an EP/Album done; and quick-released before the dates or perhaps after and the dates showcase the new material.

There's no way they could record a full album, which takes them ages, and manage to keep it a secret. Plus they've all been busy with side projects. I do hope they are up to something, maybe a few arena shows towards the end of the year and then back into the studio next year? I'm not getting my hopes up anyway.

What do you think the Glasto 2017 show was. Heavy in OKC for a reason. Theyre capable if they choose to be.

Id describe the 2017 headline set as a close to a greatest hits set as you would ever get from Radiohead - People will bemoan there only be two songs from the Bends - but I think 2-3 is the maximum that album ever seems to get.  On that note they have released a B-sides playlist for the Bends - and its the anniversary so theres probably a re-issue on the way - I would say apart from Pablo Honey this is the album least likely to get an album show -   The 2017 set was technically part of the Moon Shaped Pool tour.

The fact that since then they re-issued OK computer (OKNOTOK), Kid A & Amnesiac (KIDAMNESIAC) and did not tour those makes me think theres no chance the Bends gets that treatment

Id back there being New or previously unreleased material which forms the basis for the shows - I know there was some doubt from someone about if they would have had time as other projects but id say that they have not been completely busy for the last 8 years while it seems a crazy to be featuring songs on a new release that might have been recorded years ago, id remind you that Moon Shaped Pool featured songs that had been played live 10 or 15 years ago - They have history of sitting on stuff until the right moment to actually release it comes out.

The most jealous I've ever been of a Glasto setlist - absolutley insane

I think a lot of the moans about Radioheads headlne set - came from people who had only ever listened to the Bends and were angry that it did not all sound like that!  The main complaint seemed to be that Radiohead sounded like Radiohead.

I actually was working it - but luckily had tickets to see them a few days after the fest, and then also jammily got to at least hear the end of the set by being stood to the right hand of the Pyramid for the encores though absoultely no line of site I was closer than any one with a ticket could be.

7 out of 12 songs and scattered through the setlist is hardly an anniversary show 😄

they did sell the limited OKC t shirt at the festival and you couldnt find it online either. Thats why i saw them in dublin a few days prior to get I Promise as a treat. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Bro wrote an essay in response to a fairly obvious piece of bait.

I actually went to that 2000 tent tour and the audience were unenthusiastic and vocally pissed off by the setlist being dominated by new songs and unreleased mid Amnesiac cuts like Dollars and Cents.

Those live performances weren't only new songs nobody knew, they were even less accessible versions than the recorded tracks, from the excerpts I've heard.

I used to work with someone who professed "not to like music".  He'd never really been that music into music, but was eventually convinced to go and see a gig that had put him off.  After questioning, he had ended up choosing that tent tour as his introduction to live music in general.  Put him off not only Radiohead, but music in general, for life.

To be fair I saw one in 2012 where they played 2 off that album (Airbag and Paranoid Android) and one off The Bends (Planet Telex). I'd be able to hack that now, but at the time it was a bit challenging!! 7/12 is incredible.

The Glastonbury setlist made me get tickets for the Manchester show just after. Let down as an opener was brilliant

Great thing about Radiohead - apart from maybe the non Creep tracks on Pablo Honey - practically any trak might randomly turn up in a set list does not matter if it was a B-side or not

They need to get back tomore  Hail To The Thief stuff. A lot of those songs transalted amazingly live. They soundchecked Go To Sleep last tour but didnt play it.

Yeah - Its not the most common choice bur its actually my favourite album Drunken Punch Up, Wolf At The Door or Sit Down in a set would make my day

Having attended both I will always maintain that, as good as the Glastonbury set list was, TRNSMT a few weeks later was better.

1. Included Reckoner

2. Opened with Let Down

3. Opened the encore with Daydreaming when it was dark.

I remember all of these being on wishlists on here in the run up to Glastonbury.

It was a near-flawless setlist. Know some didn't care for the slower start, but think for what they do, they balanced it superbly.

People should have been expecting it. They’d been opening with Daydreaming for loads of the gigs on that tour. Top 3 gigs of all time for me.

I was gutted about this. My first Glastonbury was 2004 - the year after they headlined. I went to all from 2004 until 2016 and had always wanted to see them on the Pyramid. 2017 was the first year I couldn't get a ticket.

I did see them on the Park 2011 though.
