Isle of wight 1970 - supposedly 600,000.

The stuff abroad tho- millions for rod stewart, jeans michael jarre and rolling stones crowds

I just can't see the point in going to these massive things on Copacabana - 1.2 million people that's like 15 pyramid fields full - you aren't going to be able to see anything / get a drink / go to the toilet lol

Anyone have any anecdotal evidence that it’s even possible to get tickets off twickets/tickemaster in the days before the gig by just constantly refreshing? Starting to lose hope for a pair to Wembley!

I pressed buy on about 60-70 tickets for last Saturday over couple of weeks within seconds of them going on sale and got another buyer message each time.

Given touts were selling outside for £600-700 and told me they had the demand at this price too would suggest they are getting them from Twickets.

Call me a bit old and not used tickets on apps etc. but how do you buy off a tout outside for these? Do they have them all on one phone

I went on Saturday and not a single tout had tickets to sell, they were all looking to buy. A couple of friends went to a few Heaton park shows hoping to buy off touts and ended up going to Gallagher Hill instead as even the touts couldn’t get their hands on any tickets.

i would imagine they’d have them on a phone though yes and they transfer them over to your ticketmaster account

If this extends into 26/27 - do you think inevitably that tickets will become easier to buy? Knebworth aside- I feel that will still catch the moment.

Coldplay tickets are easy ish to get now - specials when they reformed were like gold dust- after a few tours you could get them on the night, wilko when everyone thought he was dying was a sell out, when he was saved and people could see him again the following year places were half full.

I know the reviews coming out are saying how fantastic it is but is there an element of 'can't believe this is happening- i need to be there' that will eventually pass for some people as they realise that they can see them or that missing them doesn't actually make that much difference.

100%. If they continue into next year and beyond, there will be a huge drop off in demand. I'm buzzing to see them at Wembley but probably wouldn't bother seeing them again next year if that's an option. A lot will be in the same boat.

Remember seeing The Libertines headline BST when they reformed. Within a year they were struggling to sell venues 10% of that size.

Yeah I think so too.  Knebworth will be hard to get, and Eithad too, but beyond that I guess it depends on how many shows they do and what size venues.  There really aren’t that many artists that you can’t get tickets for nowadays if you put some effort into signing up for pre-sales, getting a few people to help, stalking Twickets etc.  Taylor last year was probably the last one where it was near impossible to get.

I was just thinking that! Just had a look - 10 nights at wembley all sold out and not 1 ticket on twickets!

It's also the same with Oasis - they sold out every UK show and when tickets are listed on Twickets they're snatched up immediately, no matter the cost. The only few tickets I last saw on Twickets were Wembley packages at around £3000 a ticket.

I think they'd (Oasis) would sell another UK tour out next year easily again, 2027 onwards you MIGHT see a loss of interest / demand in tickets but at the moment I can't imagine that. I also haven't heard one bad comment or remark about their recent run of shows in Cardiff and Manchester. People are even saying they're at their peak/best at the moment.

Can't see the hype dying off any time soon. Not overloading the dates has made the demand even higher I think. I think it would still be a mad scramble for tickets in 2026 and/or 2027.

Liam's voice may die off a bit though which could potentially have an impact in demand.

Dunno about that, I was asked to help out with a family friend for those 10 x Wembley dates and we had a solid party of people, nobody managed to even catch a sight of tickets. Getting Eras Tour and Oasis was a breeze in comparison.

I went to Heaton Park last Saturday, got a front standing ticket for £160 off twickets literally the day before, so it's definitely possible (but very difficult)! The ticket was saying "being purchased by another user" for about 10 mins, but I kept refreshing on it and eventually got it in my basket. Whoever had it must have changed their mind

There is so much demand for Oasis. Look  how many dates Peter Kay did(!), I can't see interest in Oasis dying down anytime soon.

Just been reading through the opening pages of this thread. Hilarious how quickly we shot down the rumours in hindsight

The way some posters were treated, even proven trusted sources, is a bit saddening. But on the other hand, you can understand the skepticism.

We're all daft anyway, it was always just part of the masterplan. 😉

Probably my confirmation bias in play there then. Had 2 different lots of family wanted to go - both got tickets in presale

It looks realistic, but I'm rather sceptical about the fact that Metallica are playing that stadium in Budapest on the 11th and 13th of June and I'm not certain it's possible for both the Metallica and Oasis crews to remove and build up their setups within 16 hours. I've also heard from a source they're playing Lille next year and I don't see a date for that.

Hi mate would love dearly two tickets if possible! Any Wembley date other than 2nd August works for me! Thank you so much - would be incredible if possible.
