Special Guests

There’s a few TBA’s but any speculation on any special guests appearing during sets? We’ve had a Lily Allen cameo during Olivia Rodrigo’s set and Mel C during Blossoms, of course there were Elton’s four guests too. Who could be making a surprise appearance this year?

 

Harry Styles during Shania’s Legend set to repay the Coachella favour? Dua Lipa bringing out Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling for Dance the Night? Coldplay love a surprise guest too, a repeat of Michael Eavis taking to the Pyramid? Run wild with conspiracies

I think little simz will join Coldplay it's gotta be likely. Rumours that they have done a song together. 

 

I think kevin parker possible at dua lipa as he was on the new album. 

 

Then there are several people who could join SZA - potentially a big name like kendrick lamar or phoebe bridgers. But there are a few. 

 

I kinda think there are some possibles for The National (if phoebe bridgers was there for SZA she could double with the national at the same time, Justin Vernon loves a guest slot at glasto so could pop up).

Yeah, given they’ve been sound checking Arabesque, that looks nailed on! Was wondering whether this is as a result of Femi Kuti playing the pyramid or is Femi Kuti on the bill as Chris asked him to guest and having played before, the festival offered a set as well? Though could it be Coldplay sneakily guessing with Femi Kuti early in the day (à la Bruce and Gaslight Anthem?)…probably better the other way around though.

Yeah, could be a two birds with one stone thing.  Saw them on El Pointo 15 or so years back. May make the double.

Kylie was rumoured on here quite a while back and it makes sense with Coldplay - but she does also have a collaboration with Dua Lipa

I was at Mighty Hoopla earlier this month where Jessie Ware headlined and Beth Ditto came out for a song. With her being on site I’d say that’s pretty certain!!

They’re both on stage at exactly the same time so not happening.

Am I the only one who doesn't care sbout special guests?  It's usually a detraction rather than a bonus IMO. Unless it's a megastar in a set by a lesser act I don't get it.  Bruce with Gaslight Anthem as an example.  Most are a bit, meh?  Just me?
