I don't want to get everyone's hopes up as I do not have any festival specific information

Been off the tread the past month or so.
What Rihanna stuff have you heard? Couple months ago, I did mention on here that someone (friend of a ‘friend’) from her UK label had said she might be active (musically) but haven’t heard anything since. He didn’t specify Glastonbury but did say she could be about.

Definitely been intermittent news on a Rihanna world tour in 25 trouble is kind of feels for something so big it would have to be announced by now.

Same goes for her new music.

there was something in the news about her other half being acquitted from shooting charges a few days back , maybe that might have some kind of influence ? wait until thats sorted ?

Certanly could be, I mean definitely feels there to much speculation for it to be a complete fabrication.

If so we will probably find out soon.

Doesn't Rihanna keep planning world tours and then getting pregnant and cancelling them?

I'd watch a Rihanna headline set but wouldn't be compelled to be there if something else is on offer. Seen Rocky with the A$AP Mob before and was a good time so would definitely be down to see him again.

What I have is multiple London shows in a close window to Glastonbury

Wouldn't be the only ones. U2 seemingly do this as well.

To be fair, I don't believe the U2 (2025) tour plans even got as far as placing holds on venues.

It sounds like they thought about doing it, realised it was already a busy summer so routing would be tricky, and knocked it on the head early on.

It sounds like they've also now shelved the album they'd recorded, and have gone back to the studio with the intention of a new album at the end of 2025 and then tour in 2026.

So she has popped up a dozen children? Did you complain when Beyonce was there in 2011 while pregnant or would you have said she shouldnt have done it with child cause blokes are better as headliners.

What the hell are you on about?

I could be wrong but seemingly two returns to music with albums and tours were put on hold due to having the kids.

Secondly what the hell does Beyonce and pregnancy have to do with it?

It’s not that difficult. I prefer Rocky’s music and don’t think he should headline, I don’t prefer Rihanna’s music but she would justifiably headline.

If I had said I’d rather see Joanna Newsom doing a set on the acoustic stage to Drake headlining you’d probably call me a racist you complete headbasket.

    • I dunno - I thought that initially but I'm, reluctantly, edging towards not happening as it stands. Will continue to dig where I can, though.   Re 2028 - I wouldn't be confident. If this is the second time they've tried and it's gone belly up, it could be a case of just write it off.
    • What do you think the lowest price the Weekend tickets for Leeds will hit?    Currently £210 before Twickets fees?   Maybe £140-150? Or less?
    • Guessing you only went to the S   I’m a Stones fan. I had a really difficult choice to make between them and PE. Choose the Stones, lasted about 15 minutes and then bailed (they were dreadful). Legged it to WH, thankfully as PE were brilliant
    • Its basically a case of who people like isn't it. I've no interest in Public Enemy, I like Example and C&S to a degree but I wasn't missing The Stones. Some younger folk too wouldn't really care about them. Some people I know went when they were 18 and I was 26.   Pheobe Bridgers, Sam Smith and Bicep likely make that chance much less lol. He's not taking an other stage set time though.
