You're selling him short. He used to be CEO of freaking Ticketmaster. He now runs a major music consultancy. He was and is extremely connected in the industry.

Apparently he leaked the Oasis news too, before quickly deleting it. Still vanishingly unlikely to be true but certainly interesting.

Now we're talking. Until the final announcement disappoints us, this is what this thread should be about. Less of the low-hanging fruit and more big dreaming!

She’d love to usurp either Matty or Liv. Feels more likely she’d replace Liv in terms of the balance though.

It would be quite the power play for Swift to cash in her rain check specifically to deny two people she may have beef with from topping the G.

It's definitely interesting to see Nathan Hubbard say that. Didn't know about his Ticketmaster past, but he also has hosted an Every Single Album Taylor Swift podcast with Nora Princiotti (worth a listen if you're a fan).

It still feels so massive that it's unlikely, but bloody hell that would be incredible.

Oh that’s a funny/interesting take on the story, so we can already guess a couple of songs on her setlist!

Don’t think she’s written a rebuttal to The Grudge yet, but we can be sure one would magically appear if they happened to be playing the same event on the same weekend …

Can confirm Robbie Williams is not going to be at Glastonbury next year. Was at his movie premiere last night so I asked him, he said he’s never been asked! Also an interview with Daily Mail confirming that. On bright side I had a brilliant night!

I mean this is one way to find out. Fair play. Now can you please go and ask Matty, Taylor, Stevie etc?!!!

*if* this turned out to be correct, I'd have to assume she'd be playing Sunday night, just as she would have been in 2020 - presumably Sunday was deliberately selected as being "best" for her, just as everything she does is carefully considered.

But it's not going to happen obviously.

    • That leaker off Instagram was saying earlier this year that Nickelback are doing a tour with Broco and Wargasm, but no evidence as yet
    • Gojira are unoficially confirmed by the organisation at Hellfest since last December already.   Slayer was supposed to be this year as a Mainstage 2 headliner at the place of Volbeat for a thrash day but negotiations fell off. Very likely to be there next year.    MCR I didn't know about but it fits well with Hellfest's desire to keep one day as more punk/rock orientated.    Europe are a confirmed headliner for Sweden Rock 2027. They will not headline HF but we may seem them on the bill. I am very curious who will be the legacy bands next year at HF. There was some backlash after 2025 and a bit of a return to heavier metal on the bill in 2026 - e.g. Gatekeeper on the main stage. The only considerable legacy acts I see coming (if they are in Europe) and haven't been at HF for a while are Def Leppard, Motley Crue, Slash, FFDP (if you count them as legacy), ZZ Top, and Lynyrd Skynyrd. I really hope they manage to pull sth big for the 20th anniversary like AC/DC.
    • Looking forward to Doja Cat letting us all know what is going on later on today. It is a good job that somebody is keeping us informed.
    • They've got a few gigs in Dec/Jan.  Hoping to pick up a couple of tickets for Margate later today
