As a Sunderland fan the idea of Fender getting people to wave black and white flags at the pyramid like he did at Finsbury park makes me feel sick

Would rather he never headlined

I'd just move past the football aspect, that's like me not wanting to watch Jamie Webster as he's from Liverpool or never having anything to do with Oasis because they support Man City.

I would but fender seemed obsessed with it last tour , hopefully he has calmed down but waving black and white flags in a London gig seemed strange

I cant stand either act, and will happily use their choice of football club to further denigrate them.

Actually, just imagined someone doing it with Rangers flags and felt a bit sick.

He must be stopped.

Wonder who would be the most Staunch artist, where you could wave Rangers flags around during their set?

(Aside from Skrewdriver, obvs)

There was some gadge handing out flags at his 2022 set down the pyramid. As a Boro fan i told him where to go.

I actually didn't mind fender till I saw him at Newcastle arena iin 2021 I think

Massive banners, flags , coming out to the Newcastle entrance music .

Yes I was in Newcastle and I maybe expected something to do with the club but it was like a cult

The Finsbury park one was funny sd a few southerners were confused to why he was doing it in London.

I would more then happily watch him if he kicks the football stuff away

Ruled out a million times over.

Probably should not even talk about it.

But

It looks like Fleetwood Mac are gearing up for some kind of anoucement......

Not happening but Olivia Rodrigo - Fred Again - Fleetwood Mac would be beautiful

I can beat that. My wife bought me tickets for my birthday to his gig at St James' Park a few summers ago, just after they'd qualified for the Champions League. It was like being a Nazi rally..

someone on here was saying he isn't actually big enough to headline but instead just runs a cult or some shite when it was happening

    • Its taught me basically to acknowledge to turn up for the bigger acts even 10 minutes before if I wanted to see a band before and just get as central and far forward as possible so the show is at least there. Volbeat wasn't hard to access the front for at all but I didnt stay in for the whole show. They are a bit of a 45/50 minutes hits band for me. They had a crowd don't get me wrong but they are the weakest headliner in the trio all the last 3 times they've appeared. But then the festival are putting on headliners at some other festivals on their late night closing stage. The only thing I probably would have liked to do is see more of Sabaton as I enjoyed them, just the tiredness and adapting to a different overseas festival etc. The start didn't exactly go to plan for me and I knew I was struggling and didn't want to kill my bodies energy completely for the Sunday night.   I saw Palaye Royale, 30 minutes of Sabaton and 20 minutes of Limb Bizkit as I was just going past but I didnt need to stay longer for them. I checked the setlist they were doing and do be honest I stood there while they played a video recording and couldn't be bothered with it. While they looked good in that position on paper I didn't need to see them again to say I had.
