What have you done to get ready for Glastonbury 24 ?

Decided we’re “all in” for the resale. 

We were going to duck out of ‘24 but the lure of Stevie, Janelle Monae et al has drawn us back in.

2009 was a very unpleasant experience for a couple of days, I assure you.....

Bought a new tent at the weekend as G23 killed my old festy tent (snapped pole and either a slash/rip in the fabric).  Gone team Fresh & Black.

You won’t regret that. Bought mine last year, comfortably slept until 10:00 👍

There used to be a nightclub in Birmingham called 'The Rum Runner'. I never got to go there. I wished I had though because it was full of New Romantics. it's also where Duran Duran started off.

We've got ready by deciding we aren't in for the resale and will be giving this year a miss. Straight after ticket day we said we weren't going but after a few days decided to have a go in the resale. Since then we've got tickets to Towersey festival which will give the kids 5 days camping and some live music. We can't afford Glastonbury and a holiday abroad so since we missed the main sale we've just booked Marrakech for a week in May so Glastonbury for us this year is this year is officially out. At the minute I'm feeling ok about it but I know when the line up drops I will be gutted, especially if you do get the National and Pulp.

Aw it's a tough one for sure but sometimes better to accept it and make alternative plans. Probably even harder if you wait until resale and aren't successful then. Sometimes you need the daydream of the holidays to get you through the long cold winter.

Got a pair of used Air Max 90's from eBay as I need something comfier than walking boots when standing on shift. They arrived today and I'm very pleased with them!

Recieved 40 lovely cans of Brothers 7% App-Solutey-Pear-Fect cider. Or maybe I'm kinding myself they'll last until 26th June!

Problem is I’d imagine those have the competition qr code on them and code under ring pull So a challenge not to be tempted by the ticket win competition
