Post of the year. I need to know how you did this....

Thank you.

It just so happened that I was watching Youtube vid about AI tools and then saw the ongoing discussion after @The Nal's original poetry, and @Quark's suggestion. I wanted to try it out anyway, and this felt like a fun way to do it.

https://fakeyou.com is the place to go for the voice. I edited it easily enough in Premiere to create a video. My first attempt got blocked by Youtube because I had some authentic Shawshank tune in the background. So I quickly improv'd and recorded the backing track myself.

radio just told me she's been retired since 2009.

But she played at the Grammys last week. Don’t think she ever announced her retirement as such, she just stopped playing. If she performs live again then she could start playing again.

I'm surprised BST allowing her to play the other UK dates.

I doubt it'll make much difference. The closest show is 2 hours drive away from London, and the next nearest one about 5 hours. The kind of people who'll travel that kind of distance for a gig (such as people on here) aren't really the BST target audience.

Don’t underestimate the boost she’ll get from a big Pyramid slot either - I’m sure there will be plenty of coverage of her in the run up to the festival to boost her profile up, plus she’ll be all over the BBC whether she’s the legend or not

Unfashionable shout, but having been on a binge with 'em today, decided I'd have Simple Minds for this spot next year.

One of those weird eighties bands where you could conceivably put them elsewhere on the bill, of course, but think they've enough tunes folks will know to make seventy-five minutes work on a Sunday afternoon.

Waterfront
Love Song
Glittering Prize
See the Lights
Promised You a Miracle
I Travel
Sanctify Yourself
Hunter and the Hunted
Belfast Child
10 All the Things She Said
11 Someone Somewhere in Summertime
12 Don't You (Forget About Me)
13 Alive and Kicking

Hunter and the Hunted is a personal bias in there for me, granted, and Jim Kerr would almost certainly insist on their latest single at any given moment.
