I was at front for the jack white gig on the park stage in 2022. This dude rocks up half an hour before and starts chatting to the nice couple next to me about how he's here on a volunteering ticket but only bothered with one shift before deciding to jack it in. He then fills two empty pint cups with urine and places them on the other side do the barrier for someone else to deal with.. stays for 15 mins of the set and then leaves. My only regret in 41 years on this planet is that I stopped myself from pouring his own p*ss over him.

What are people's extended arrival strategies? You're in... Tent is up... What does the next 2 hours look like? This year I think it will be the classic straight to the cider bus for me!

Probably already said it here but we're a group of 3 all arriving separately. Me on coach, one in car and one tbd (hoping they're gonna lift share but they don't actually know each other,I'm the common factor) I arrive about half 2 on Wednesday. No idea when they'll get to the farm. Then begins the attempt to meet each other and get camp sorted. Yet to decide on a camping area... Watch this space for tedious updates!

Ok I'll bite haha. Christmas for me is good enough without the presents. Family, food, bit of telly. I'm super fortunate that these things are good in my house. Presents are good, sometimes amazing yes, but if you took them away from me I wouldn't be bothered. Glasto the same, it's bloody amazing and doesn't need the secret sets. They're good, sometimes amazing, but I can live without them. I've seen people spend time worrying about the quality of them etc when it feels like they could just crack on with enjoying the festival, which already has plenty to offer. Just my opinion, super happy to be in the minority. Id never tell someone else how they should enjoy the farm. Tbh this is one of those things you get to worry about then you've got a ticket so I'm gonna just appreciate that privilege!

Yeah I totally get this and don't get me wrong I was at the churnups/foos and it was awesome! Made better for me by the 1hr cap. But for it to be a thing every year would kill it for me. It would be possibly be a thing that I'd end up expecting to be perfect and then being disappointed with . Once and done for me ! Unless it's pulp....

This doesn't seem to be the consensus here but... I really hope the whole churnups thing doesn't become standard. I find it weird to expect a surprise. Not a huge fan of there almost having to be secret sets as well. I know I sound like a right grumble guts !

That was my thinking as well. So we've got to assume the friend just happens to be an idiot, unrelated to glasto. Like they say, if you look at your group of friends and can't see the idiot then it's you! Apart from my group of friends anyway. We don't have an idiot....

I'm racking my brains to try and figure out why this makes him an idiot! But that's beside the point as all will be forgotten the moment you've got that wristband on I'm sure! As for your actual question I've got no idea sorry but hope it's a smooth one. Depends on what time it leaves as well I guess.
