Looks like he’s lost a fair bit of weight so hopefully that goes in his favour. Looks like he’s enjoying himself too which is nice to see and a far cry from when he was constantly getting pissed off in the Frankenstein version of the band.

The setlist is gonna be the same one theyve been doing so i wouldnt expect too many changes. So have a look and youll know when it gets to the not so popular section before itll get exciting again.

after welcome to the jungle itll dip before they get to Live and Let Die with macca hopefully.

Rina is killing it already, she's someone  I'm very excited to see at Reading this year. She was at Latitude last year but hadn't released Hold the Girl so we missed out on so many of these great tracks live

I've seen her live and thought she was a SUPERSTAR. But I think this is a bit all over the place vocally, and a bit....flat? Maybe she is warming up.

Also makes me cringe a bit when artists do a copy and paste of their tour and it takes them about 5 songs to address a festival crowd...

Pretty shocked they made it on stage on time!

Heard a story last summer, from a very reputable source, about the time in the '90's when GnR were booked to headline Pukkelpop festival in Belgium. The rest of the band got there during the day no problem but as early evening arrived there was still no sign of Axl. He was obviously well known at this point for leaving it late so although the organisers were starting to get anxious, it wasn't time to press the panic button.

However, with less than an hour before showtime he was nowhere to be found and no one could get in touch with him. Someone eventually managed to track him down and lo and behold, he was still in London in a hotel and hadn't even started to travel over! One of the top dogs from their record label was able to scramble a private jet and they raced him on to it. When it landed in Belgium, the police were waiting and gave him a blue lights escort right up to the main stage. He was still a couple of hours late but went straight on and by all accounts smashed it!

Think this is great compared to what a lot of people were expecting. Would be excellent fun in the field.

Yup, it may not be note perfect, and his voice does seem to be giving out at times, but looks like an absolute blast and the crowd seem to be eating it up. Great to see after the months of bemoaning the booking (and the festival because of it).

Yeah, I’m sold. GnR will never win an Ivor Novello award but this looks like great fun for a Saturday night headline. Would be enjoying this in the field’

Just said this to the wife as we sit here at 9am on a Sunday morning (we’re a bit south 🙂 ) watching it on telly.

Gain so much by being there in person. I’d be in full party mode in that crowd.
