Sorry. It was the 15:30 one that was linking to Fatboy Slim when the lineup first dropped

To add to this, just listened to one of the recent Glastocast episodes. Lead booker for Greenpeace said they'd already flagged their Sunday TBA as a 'red situation' to crowd control - presumably this fits with FBS name recognition?

The temple have posted on instagram about the saturday saying it will "go down in rave history" and notably have let slip that both the TBA slots on there saturday are b2b:

I _thought_ i had heard talk that one of them was fatboy slim? Is that less likely to be the case now with it being a b2b (does fatboy slim ever b2b?)

Yeah he does, including with Eats Everything at Glastonbury a few times at Glastonbury over the past few years.

If we summarize, I think we have all these rumours, some of them tagged as 100% reliable by different sources.

Rick Astley + Blossoms doing The Smiths - Fri Woodsies?

The Amazons - Sat BBC?

The Pretenders - Sat The Park?

Hozier - Sat Woodies? BBC?

DMAs - Fri Woodsies? Fri/Sun BBC?

Blossoms (already there, why not) - Fri/Sun BBC?

Fatboy Slim - Sun Greenpeace?

Plus other ones that I am not remembering anymore, but for main stages I think those are the suggestions we have today.

Wonder if James might play but no idea why they wouldn’t be announced. Wasn’t that long ago that they played but making up for the years they were in the huff……allegedly. Maybe doing the orchestra thing but that takes a while to setup.

Also Eats Everything's new(ish) thing is called 'The History of Rave' which featured at stonebridge bar last year and making a return this year.

last yeah at the history of rave take over, the headline slot was Fatboy B2B Eats Everything. So a lot of this adds up. with the quote from instagram saying the saturday saying it will "go down in rave history".

Get the hint surrounding “rave history” that it might be Eats… but it’s hardly historic if two artists who are playing at least 3 times each over the weekend play together.

I’m sticking with the theory that one is Fred Again.. (and maybe Four Tet). He’s surely going to turn up somewhere else over the weekend and is good mates with both Haai & I.Jordan who are B2B in between the TBA’s.

I get the feeling this thread has settled for the big six, underwhelmed by the names but accepted nonetheless. Is this not premature? - Although I do not expect a major name to appear on a stage that isn't the Pyramid this year, I do believe this is not set in stone. Any curveballs would excite me at this point!

Given theres also 3 dots later on probably wouldn't look into it? Looks like they only put 2 as they ran out of space in that font size more than anything?

Possibly. I'm leaning more towards EE with the history of rave reference.

Why would they just announce Eats Everything though? He’s already playing with the concept elsewhere, so doesn’t make sense to keep it secret. Unless it’s History of Rave with Fatboy Slim?

Theres two slots anyway

The latter one will be FBS and whoever he is with

Then first one someone more exciting hopefully - even if it is EE and Annie Mac theres still a 4th act

    • Yesterday was another brilliant day of music for me. Some highlights:  My Bloody Valentine - absolutely loved it! Maybe my main festival highlight. I felt submerged in the music with all the layers and distortion. It becomes hypnotic almost as it progresses. Not as loud as some thought it might be, but it didn’t need to be. The visuals added a lot too. During the noise part of You Made me Realise, I was basically in a trance staring at the visual tunnel or whatever it was on screen. Amazing experience. Little Simz - as she mentioned at the start, you’re guaranteed a good time with her. Great performance just like in 2022. Zero complaints. The little DJ section wasn't something I expected but was cool. Kneecap - I had a blast but at this point in the night I was at my most intoxicated let's say, so I don’t remember it as clearly as I'd have liked to!    The xx - The sound for this was perfectly balanced (at least where I was) and the band were great. Lots of talkers, but with the crowd size and being kind of far back, it's to be expected. Intro was one of my favourite moments this year. Big Thief - really good live performers. The lead singer has a lovely voice. This was a nice chill way to kick off the mordor gigs for me.
    • I've been attending Primavera every year since my first one in 2017 & it's always been my favourite week of the year, but I think things have changed.   Firstly, the site just feels too busy in this current set-up. I'm sure it was a lot easier back in 2017-19 to get between the stages & then a good spot for the next one, but now you increasingly have to sacrifice parts of a set or miss them out completely to plan for later on. I wish we still had the Bits area over the bridge to spread everyone out.   But the main issue is the talking, it's always been here but this year it's been relentless & I just can't tolerate it any more. It's at every stage, and everywhere from the front to the back, there is no escape. Not focusing on nationalities, but a major dynamic now seems to be groups of people who are only focusing on their own good time & aren't interested if this affects anyone else. It seems essential that all members of the group are together at the same time, so it's people making telephone calls, people on shoulders waving phone torches, people barging through. It's alright, I'm only trying to watch The Cure here.   I will have a year away to think about it. I thought might give up completely but yesterday was a bit of a classic day after two unenjoyable ones. Adding Olivia Rodrigo to Baxter Dury, Gelli Haha, The XX, Gorillaz & Kneecap shows how good it can be, but as with everything, it's always the people that have the biggest impact.
