2 men, a telehandler and some mesh - I'm not sure what this tells us.

if we can discuss a light being turned on in a Porta cabin,  we can discuss quite easily some foundations going down in Williams Green .... Its probably the change that intrigues people most

If there was a hole to put the mesh in to indicate foundations, then I'd be more excited.

the fenced off area and the iron grid ( not sure the trade name ? ) are enough for me 🙂

Indeed. Never seen it just laid on the surface before… where’s the hole?

Shit. Some serious foundations. I guess a 2 car kebab pointing skywards needs a solid base.

This looks serious! Foundations for a very large tent perhaps? I’m here for this speculation.

theres a car sculpture there with the cars from the deleted car cinema .... but we dont currently know if there will be some kind of stage or not ?

As I currently understand it, there is no stage. I will see if there is firmer information.

    • Orbital opening the Other stage is a bold choice!
    • Great start for them
    • Thanks so much - that's very helpful. Someone else mentioned getting a train from Loughborough to East Midlands Parkway, and then a festival shuttle from there to the site. I think they were then going to come back on the Skylink Derby to Loughborough - I assume this is because the trains don't run as late as the Skylink, otherwise they would just come back the same way they came?! Is the transport hub a long way from the main stage? Just wondering what time I would need to leave Linkin Park to be sure of getting a shuttle. As I say, I am sure it will all be clear on the day, even after a few beers! Just hope the rain stays away...
    • I really don't think they would put Olivia Rodrigo on Occident stage. If it was her, they would put her in earlier Mordor slot and move Big Thief or Little Simz to Occident.   Fontaines DC are more probable, but don't really match the hype. However, again, if the hype was real, the artist would end up in Mordor.   That being said, I would love to see Fontaines DC tonight.
    • After all the good advice on here I had a nice visit to the site earlier in the week.    Walked down from Pilton village to Hitchen Hill and down the footpath to the Wood by Woodies.    Really strange seeing the site empty of 100,000 people. There is far more hedges and woodland on the site than you remember when the festival is on. Can see the stone circle and some structures still up on site. And looks like Worthy View has some camping going on there during the summer too.   Lots was fenced off with electric fencing to help wth the cattle grazing. Is really amazing how they set up the site as its hard enough accessing the area by car and foot nevermind all the kit needed to set the festival up. As others said you can't walk the whole site but nice to see the site again after a few years away   Pilton is also a lovely village with a nice village hall shop and post office attached, and got to speak to some locals who told me a few tales of past festivals down the years. One house for sale there would be lovely to live in - if only I had £2 million going spare
