Can I guess?

So I wandered into a restricted area, primarily to try and find some toilets without a mile long queue, and passed by some security who assumed I’d already been checked, then opened a curtain and climbed up some steps, and this was my view.

Fred and TBM right in front of me in the Temple booth, finishing up their set 🤯

That's insane! Did you speak to either of them or just take the picture and quickly get out of there?

They were busy doing their thing. I took a few photos then someone tapped me on the shoulder, apparently to tell me my allotted time was over. Christ knows what they thought I was doing. I was wide eyed, taking photos on my phone.

Out of upvotes but that is great. Were you escorted out or did you manage to get somewhere in the scrum in the Temple?

Nobody realised I shouldn’t be there. After I was told I’d had enough time behind Fred and TBM, I got into character and walked around looking serious like I had a job to do. I spent a few minutes at the side of the Rumshack, found and used the crew toilets, then had to ask someone how to get out into the public area. Surreal.

I take it back,

Fred f**king nailed it Friday night on the other 👍

Helps that I was 4 rows from the front and now all over the BBC coverage 😂

But yeah, “Put your loving arms around me”

Crowd was still singing it 10 mins after he left the stage.

Well done Fred 10/10

Absolutely incredible!!! Fred was great, but the crowd, you f**kers take a bow!!! Easily one of the best sets I’ve been to.

If you were stood anywhere near me (photo below) thank you for making it so special… Each and every person around me was up for it in a way I rarely ever witness!!!

Fred Again was absolutely amazing at the Other. When he had his message on the screens talking about how grateful he was to be there I couldn't help but cry. Definitely one of the favourite things I saw and I'd love to see him again.

It was incredible. I'm a cynic by nature but he seemed so genuinely thrilled to be playing there and to such a massive crowd. Would need to be made of stone not to feel emotional watching him.

Anyone go to his Secret set on the Saturday at the temple? How early did you have to be there?

Got there for half 10, no idea what the situation was outside and was wondering why he was almost a hour late. Something cool about being there and it being shut down, 10/10

My group got there just as they opened up temple and was in a queue of about 50-100 people, definitely didn't need to be that early but was perfect to pick out a lovely spot on the steps

    • Muse will be about but the issue with Muse is that they’ll have the pick of doing IOW, BST, Glasto, R&L or big parks/stadiums.

    • Not sure what this means for 2027 but it looks like Holt Farm's website and email are both now inactive and unavailable.   It'll be a shame if they don't operate for 2027 as it was an excellent alternative to the other off-site offerings.   Fingers crossed they're just enjoying their downtime 🤞
    • Deftones, Blink, Muse?   Deftones as the next bump up makes all the sense, Blink as the "band that has never played before" and round out with Muse as its been a long time since they headlined and they have a new album coming which seems on the heavier side from the singles so far.   I could see Muse do their own tour to be fair, maybe MCR in their place? Could also see Deftones switched out for Slipknot/SOAD depending on who is about.
    • I have no issue with the Primavera crowd in most respects. They’re always friendly, respectful and no hint that there could be trouble at any point.   However…the talking is horrific here. The xx was pretty much ruined for me due to people having conversations with their mates the whole way through. Noticed it from all different nationalities across the weekend…English, Irish, Spanish etc. There seems to be no understanding of the nuances of when it’s okay to talk and when it isn’t. And obviously the sound being quiet at a lot of spots on the main stages exacerbates the issue. That alone has made me reconsider whether I will be coming back, it would probably take a lineup as good as this year (unlikely)
