this has probably been covered before but when it says payment email will be sent to lead booker is that just the first person you put in?

Just trying for one friend so would the email be sent to them not me if I get through?

Cheers,

Are you punished for spamming f5 nowadays? Years ago refreshing used to be the way to go but has anyone had more luck not doing this these days or is refreshing frequently still the way to go?

Yes - broadly speaking if you go over 60 hits in a rolling 60 second window. Though it's more complicated than that (and not something easy to go into especially not morning of) so there'll be scenarios where people go over but aren't penalised.

What is this magic link?

There isn't one. Some people think there is, but that's because they don't really understand the process.

There'll be a direct link to the event page, which will be the exact same link that will appear on the front page of glastonbury.seetickets.com, but having that ahead of time is of mixed benefit - while the enter registrations page may come up a minute or two before the sale starts, it won't let you actually buy anything until 9am hits and at that point you're still in the same scramble regardless. In functional terms - best case scenario you get the timing exactly right and get a second or two jump which it lets you straight in, but there's also a high chance you don't at which point it's actually set you back a step. Basically - don't worry about it.

    • Same’s happened at MSG recently with Rush and Phish alternating nights. I guess each band has its own unique production so their riggers will be kept busy
    • The rumour was uk arena tour late this year.  Same as Charli xcx cant be announced until Reading headline is done.
    • Latest from the sun at least is that harry is still headlining but Olivia has turned down a spot next year to work on new music and hope for 2028.   So they can't have Fender, Fontaines, Harry, Olivia and Madonna.
    • I mean I don't think EC and FFDP are borderline sub, they wouldn't be any lower now.   2025 is about as strong as Bloodstock gets yet this year only one headline would sub and the others would play 3rd down or lower.    Machine Head wouldn't sub at Download regardless of rarity, they don't sell enough tickets and I'm not sure Gojira would sub either. Their last UK tour was a mix of smaller arenas and academy dates. Ally Pally being the only London date, not even Wembley Arena.
    • live music / main stage will generally end around 11pm but theres dj’s and late goings on right till 4am if you are so inclined.   Drinks are about £7.50 a pint probably and yes theres lots of mixed drinks / spirits / cocktails available to buy   wonderful festival, back for my third year in a row and 4th overall
