This is true, but we had a syndicate of 76 total trying and only 1 person got through and then got kicked back to the holding page after paying. Odds are definitely higher, but it's still a luck game... unless you had the backdoor hack.

I'm with you. Fuming. Felt like it's the worst it's ever been. We had 14 groups of friends and friends of friends and only 1 group got through at about 9:50am. Glad I hadn't booked my flight from Aus yet.

Oh yeah definitely Group 5 (sorry meant group 1 within that spreadsheet!), the 4 regos with yours in Greg is what I chucked in and didn't think it worked because the page took so damn long to load. Couldn't get back in after that to try for any others, but more than happy to help and so glad it bloody worked out for some!!

I may have got through for group 1... I got tickets for the 4 friends I was trying for and then went back to try for this group. Entered the reg details and got to the next page then clicked the final button and the page took ages to load and then had an error message so thought it didn't work. Totally could've been someone else at the same time though! So glad some of you were lucky today, what an intense mess it was.

As much as the new system is mental and going to make it harder in general to get tickets, I don't think it isn't fair. It's honestly always been a large amount of luck getting in and no different with this new system. What hasn't been fair is the payment system booting you out in the past and then leaving you without a chance of getting tickets for 10 or so minutes.

It's honestly dumb luck for the coaches. In my 10 years of ticket buying for Glasto I've never gotten to even the rego page on the Thursday.

I've done this most years! When I lived in London would get the 2/3am bus back to the city - miss the traffic on both ends, have a shower then sleep all day. This year flying over from Australia and we're still getting the early bus back to London because we've got flights to Italy for post-fest comedown holiday. Pushing through the Sunday night I've never found particularly hard and everyone just sleeps the whole bus ride back anyway. I've left at 10/11 before and it added another 2 hours onto the journey which was rougher I thought

Shockingly managed to get a tipi at 12 on the dot. 7th Glasto and first in Tipis and thank god, it'll save 6 of us lugging gear all the way from Australia.

Is there any news on a sale date? Travelling over from Aus and looking to do tipi for the first time to save on flying over with gear.
