  1. Agghh! Difficult isn't it? On the one hand it's pissed a lot of people (including myself) off when we have specifically organised our life around the sale and might have plans for the new dates. But on the other hand I do know someone who was convinced they had re-confirmed their reg, only to double check again this week and for the reg to now have disappeared. We thought they must be mistaken but now seems maybe that it's See that have messed up!
  2. Thank you @Mike A My 2 minute edit wasn't quick enough haha!
  3. Very jealous of everyone putting the ooo on! Mine will be going on Tues 5pm - can't come soon enough!

  5. Starting taking over the entire floor of my lounge laying stuff out, I'm the type of person that needs to visualise everything to work out if I'm missing anything! Also dug out my proper rain coat from top of the wardrobe - hoping I won't need it but you have to appease the weather gods.

  7. I would make the coach sale multi step. Have the stress of ticket day to get your ticket then a calmer 24hr window to request a departure day/location of choice. Still gives the festival plenty of time to organise getting the right coaches to the right places but reduces the amount of people travelling further away from the festival to then get a coach back in. I know someone who has flown up to Scotland to get the coach back in when they live in Bristol! Completely goes against the whole point of the coaches laid on by festival. For site changes I would go with SE corner being a little more spacious or even spread out around site more. If say block 9 moved out then it would reduce the massive queues getting into the corner post headliner and spread the crowds out a bit more. Plus more female urinals! Revelation last year.
  8. That's amazing!!! Congratulations 🙂 All the competition entering paid off!
  9. Yep I did the same thing last year - had gin and wanted tonic and ended up going with sprite (although I bought the six pack of cans from co op). Sprite and gin still good in my books though! Thanks for the recommendation - Will look into the flask, last years solution of trying to create an ice bucket from a plastic bag didn't work so well!

    Folamour

Saw him at love saves the day and was a lot of fun! Then saw him about an hour later going down the helter skelter, looking like he was having the time of his life 😆
  11. Just started figuring out what drinks I will be taking with me. On the coach so weight is key priority. I'm thinking spirits decanted into reusable water bottles then buying mixers at co op on site. Plus maybe a few cans of cider for the day time.

Loads more pathways which I think will be good to ease the crowds. Although does make my normal park home a bit of a jigsaw now.
  13. Structural engineering and maintenance of the stages, sets + props!
  14. 22 - To the lovely couple (scottish lass and english fella) who we got chatting to in the queue for NYC downlow who we then kept bumping into when taking breaks from the sweat inside! You made the queue go a lot faster. 19 - To the girl I made friends with at Sean Paul when I was by myself because all my friends wanted to see other acts. Thanks for helping me not get squashed!
  15. Since the co op, I don't bother bringing any food or mixer. Co op has cans of sprite, coke etc. Just take a few cans of cider per day for the mornings then switch to spirits and mixer later (spirits decanted into a few re-usable water bottles beforehand). Co op also has snacks like cereal bars and fruit, then use the fantastic food on site for main meals. I still like taking a chair but have switched to one of those ultra lightweight ones that pack up to the size of a small loaf of bread. Still pretty comfy, you are just a little lower to the ground that the more traditional camp chairs. See tickets coaches can be hit and miss whether they let you take trolleys on the bus so I would avoid it if possible. Don't bother bringing a portable shower or wash bucket. Go to the greenpeace showers and get a token in the morning and come back in an hour or two and your number should have been up already. Or go around 5pm and there is hardly ever a queue and you can go straight in.
