They've said in the past that they wouldn't play festivals where the tickets were sold before they were announced as it would stop their fans from getting them. Whether this remains true, who knows?

Didn't someone who did Glasto maybe around 8-10 years ago get a fan allocation?

might be waaay off

Who was the grand oracle on this thread who got the BST dates correct (Stray Kids and Shania Twain)? What other artists and dates did they predict that we are still waiting for?

Taking that source as correct, BST looks like this:

Fri 28 June - Stevie Wonder
Sat 29 June - SZA
Sun 30 June - Kings of Leon

Fri 5 July - Andrea Bocelli
Sat 6 July - Robbie Williams
Sun 7 July - Shania Twain

Fri 12 July - Stevie Nicks
Sun 14 July - Stray Kids

Plus one other TBA.

The 5th+6th were already announced. So far the 14th+7th have been proven to be correct, and so it seems likely the others are.

I think I read elsewhere that the TBC (for Saturday 13th July) was Kylie?

Interesting poster, if only for the fact that the one band I have been told will probably play the Park stage, and who I haven’t seen mentioned here at all, are on it. (Dexys).

I've heard they are on The Park, too.

With Metallica, they asked if any of their fans were going and then offered them the chance to stand at the back of the stage, they didn't get a specific allocation.

I can't find a link at first glance, but I'm sure I read a fan report at the time which described it a bit differently to that.

Basically - they brought those fans with them. They met somewhere (I think a service station), came in on a bus, weren't given festival wristbands and were escorted carefully on and off site so that they didn't impact on the overall number.

I’m not a huge fan but seeing videos of their current tour it confirms how mad it is that The 1975 have never headlined.

Take Notes off due to covid but crazy they haven't made an appearance on the farm since their 2nd album

They're the biggest British band of the last decade surely? Multiple sold out arena tours and headlined most other UK fests. Only reason against I've heard on here is Matt Healy being a twat.

Hopefully they get the chance one day. Probs should have been 2023.

Interesting, I'm going off what a couple of people have told me via Twitter. Both people who had tickets beforehand.

I’m not even a fan but it does seem weird that it hasn’t happened

It may be that there was a combination of both types, then. From what I remember I think it was sorted through their Fan Club.

I have interestingly just read an article the 1975 have not sold out any of there dates on the current tour  (a quick check In Ticketmaster has confirms this)

It could either be that have declined in popularity

Or alternatively it could be cost of living impacts fans just not affording to pay those prices.

Well the one year I don't have tickets....is the one year that PEARL JAM could possibly play the Friday.....f**king tropical init 😂😆

They won't. You must be happy you won't miss them by being at Glastonbury though. Tropical or not.

Pretty sure both nights in Glasgow were sold out. They also played 4x in London I think so clearly huge demand.
