How many artists, ever, could you say that about. Insane. What. She's had some big hits but C'mon. 😅

VCF
Wonderful news (and a better one to get up to after the Win Butler debacle). Can’t wait for the tour. October 21 is also the release date of the new CRJ record. It will be a great day.

Day 2 Red/1989/Rep Day 3 Lover/Folklore/evermore....midnight Three two hour sets absolutely possible.

Wilco did that a few years ago with a 5 night residency. They played their entire discog with no repeats. jparx
Well anyway, if that source is true and a tour announcement is coming, Taylor is a TBC right? Emily said they’d grab her when she next tours, so it all seems to be pointing one way. Gulp. Ticket day can do one!

If she announced all her dates around the album launch then T-Day will have been and gone.

I can't imagine they'd announce dates until album launch at the very earliest, and more likely closer to Christmas. I think we'll be safe from hoardes of Swifties trying on top of the rest of us. Livvy13
Judging from the past few tours she's done, the dates have been released about 2 weeks after the album so we should be good.

I'm predicting Glastonbury announcement on Halloween (my birthday 😏). The previous Taylor/Glasto announcement was on the day my partner and I got engaged, so I'm just gonna assume I'm the rabbits foot here 😂
fraybentos1
Even if Swift announced a tour with a big old glasto gap, why do people think that this means hardcore Swifties will try for Glasto tickets (which wouldn't be announced) as opposed to going to her stadium tour? Was 2019 ticket day filled with hordes of Swifites? I doubt it. Seems like a made up issue.
Matt42
Yeah I don’t think ticket day is the issue, I think the issue is that a lot of Glasto attendees are swifties… like us lot… So either way you’re fighting swifties for tickets. Then there would be a hell of a lot of "OMG! Taylor's at Glastonbury! I need to go!"

Doubt it, Why would they choose to go to Glasto at 300 quid and which takes several days when they could just go to one of T Swift's own shows- which would be A)cheaper B)easier to get tix for and c) likely easier for them to get to. CaledonianGonzo
Post her announcement for 2020 I do recall a flurry of interest from Swifties in the festival followed in short order by fury that tickets weren't available as it was already sold out. But on what scale that minor online kerfuffle would manifest in a T-day impact I've got no idea.

You don't think Taylor playing at the world's biggest and most popular interest might stir some interest amongst her fans?

I mean it may tempt some Swifties who have never been before. Especially if there are other acts on the bill that they may want to see too. Well, the big reason I would think is that a Glasto ticket would likely be cheaper than whatever golden circle/VIP ticket you'd need to secure front row seats at Taylor's own show. For the die hard Swifties, £250/£300 to turn up for the day at Glastonbury, camp at the front row and be front and centre for the gig may well be worth it after looking at those Bruce tickets...
