Powerful start and then the second song is a banger. Great live band. Clams is one of the best frontmen around, very free and loose with the profanities at 2pm on a Sunday 😂

A few years ago a few of his mates were camping next to me at EOTR. He came back to their tents one night & kept me up all night, the noisy bastard! 😄

Sometimes if an artist isn't confident/isn't great live/they know it won't translate on TV it's not worth it I guess.

She’s also had a difficult tour singing some of the more personal songs so maybe that is a factor - she did backing for Lorde’s latest record so I wonder if we will see her later on the Pyramid?

Really, really impressed with Declan McKenna. Wrote him off as some sort of bland Ezra-type for some reason but he's really wonky and catchy and fun.

Ditto. Id let my musical prejudice stop me from checking him out. Just go to show how wrong I was. There’s a touch of the Alex Turners about him, which is no bad thing.

    • Aldous Harding absolutely brilliant in Dublin last night. Quirky as ever but sounded magnificent. Played everything off the new album I think, it all sounded fantastic. Band, including H Hawkline, were understated but excellent. Another one to look forward to.
    • Orbital opening the Other stage is a bold choice!
    • Great start for them
    • Thanks so much - that's very helpful. Someone else mentioned getting a train from Loughborough to East Midlands Parkway, and then a festival shuttle from there to the site. I think they were then going to come back on the Skylink Derby to Loughborough - I assume this is because the trains don't run as late as the Skylink, otherwise they would just come back the same way they came?! Is the transport hub a long way from the main stage? Just wondering what time I would need to leave Linkin Park to be sure of getting a shuttle. As I say, I am sure it will all be clear on the day, even after a few beers! Just hope the rain stays away...
    • I really don't think they would put Olivia Rodrigo on Occident stage. If it was her, they would put her in earlier Mordor slot and move Big Thief or Little Simz to Occident.   Fontaines DC are more probable, but don't really match the hype. However, again, if the hype was real, the artist would end up in Mordor.   That being said, I would love to see Fontaines DC tonight.
