Sounds ideal, thanks for the heads-up. Any idea where these will be located?

That's OK.  Happy to give some useful info.

Paulshane gives a good description above your post where they're located.

Can anyone who stayed at Worthy View in 2019 confirm whether they turned off the showers for them also, as they did for us plebs? Staying at WV this year and I'm wondering if I should bring a backup in case they turn it off again this year.

Yes they did due to the demand for water onsite. I think WV even tweeted about it. Only for a few hours.

People showering like this these days out of buckets

Stone Cold Pouring Beer On Himself GIF

Mate of mine has not once, but twice showered himself with a 2 litre of vodka by mistake. Went for it like a timotei advert and realised what he had done when his eyes started stinging like mad. Then did it again the next year.

Hahah what a tit.

My missus put vape oil into her eye instead of eye drops.

Ouch!  That would sting. Did she get a nicotine rush from it like the rumour that bathing your eye in vodka is a very efficient way of taking it

Thankfully I was elsewhere so was spared from this idiotic event.

Shower situation at Greenpeace is a joke these days.

Removing the communal showers was an idiotic idea and then failing to understand or implement the raffle ticket system this year was the final nail in the coffin.

How did it work this year? Private cubical that you had to queue for?

I don't even bother with that. Baby wipes is all I need.

The little camp showers are so much better than wet wipes. I was skeptical at first but by Friday the whole group was queuing up for a shower.

The herras fencing also really helpfully acts as a hoop for the bag to hang it over.

Yep. Just encourages people to take an absolute age. It's a festival ffs. Can we just have an option for non-prudes who'd prefer not to waste hours queueing for people living in the stone age.

I don't and never would queue up for showers, but I promise you that those not wishing to see my bloated carcass it's not due to them living in the stone age, it would be more about avoiding ptsd 😉

I was lucky enough to be in East Camper again this year, and I took a 12v shower this time. Powered by my solar stuff.

filled a few 10litre containers from the standpipes, popped them in the back of my estate car to heat up in the sun, then used the shower in one of those small but tall 'toilet tent' things, which I pitched right up against my caravan (mostly to stop it blowing away)

when I timed it right with the water (it was piping hot on the friday morning) it was brilliant, when it was 'room temp' not so much, but still a shower 🙂

and pricing everything up, still about 1/4 of the price of Lost Horizons, and I can use it again and again.

Completely unsuitable if you camp in a tent I know, but this was a first for me - having a shower every day at the festival 🙂

I used a 2L plastic bottle filled from the taps by my tent. Cost nothing, was refreshing and got me completely clean, and was done in less than 2 minutes.

f**k queueing for showers.

I used to do that pre caravan ownership. I attached a watering can rose to get a steady flow. 😊

Over the years I’ve seen many showering devices, the ones you can buy, buckets, things that look like something out of a hospital, even saw someone spraying others with one of those garden pesticide sprays, filled with water I hope.
One thing I don’t like however is folk doing a full wash at the drinking water taps with the taps full on as they shampoo etc.

    • All of these were published in July of their respective year. Appreciate the festival is a little later than normal but it must surely be live in the next 48 hours? The first events start in five days! 🤣
    • Took the words out of my mouth. He never misses.   Definitely adds fuel to the fire.
    • Gavin Leigh Davis on Instagram, the Fabrizio Romano of tour leaks, says Sam Fender outdoor shows and likely festivals next year. Didn't explicitly mention Glastonbury but adds more to the rumour
    • I think a lot of you guys don't see Tate McRae as headliner material however she was originally billed to play back in 2025 and had to pull out (https://www.billboard.com/music/music-news/glastonbury-2025-headliners-revealed-tickets-line-up-1235915362/). She sold out out all of her arena shows in 2025 and just brought in huge crowds at Oshega and Lollapalooza. Given that she's gearing up to release the second album it lines her up for a tour run in her same gap as she's usually over here over Glaso weekend. I wouldn't rule her out.
    • I’d expect U2 & Muse to be options too.
