Did we ever work out when the Self Esteem secret set is?

also please stop posting rumours of Andy Paak and Arcade Fire. However false they are my heart can’t take the hope.

Just seen Win Butler in the showers!! It's on!

Every person over 6’3 is getting intensely stared at.

More special guests than secret sets but during the Blossoms set, Mel C will joining them to do a Spice Girls cover. Confirmed on bbc this morning.

Liam Gallagher on twitter says Dave Grohl will be joining Noels set.. Maybe take that with a pinch of salt!

Feel free to DM me too, I've nothing to do with secretglasto but keen to know stuff just as much as the self appointed gate-keepers of community knowledge.

They turned down your offer to help out did they?

    • NIN and Bjork for sure 😉
    • When are  the stage splits ??
    • 13th Primavera (Thursday was definitely making me feel like this was the cursed year).  Blood Orange was such a party by the end of their set but we all knew that rain storm was approaching.  So gutted Massive Attack didn't play after the false hope of a new rescheduling, especially knowing that Elizabeth Fraser & Horace Andy were backstage with them!  Managed a bit of Melt Banana but was just so over the weather by that point.   Friday was awesome, Rilo Kiley were so much fun.  Never been the biggest Cure fan but made the effort for them after Thursday & Robert Smith sounds like he did back in the 80s.  PinkPantheress & Viagra Boys were also great.   The highlight for me was Sudan Archives on the Saturday, she was stunning & with the Olivia Rodrigo surprise set too it made up for the Thursday sh*t show.  Dijon & Knocked Loose also superb.   Shoutout to Cardiacs on the Tuesday too, they were so LOUD, played a storming set.
    • OK, never mind, I'll take normal Nine Inch Nails.
    • Probably my least favourite of the five editions I've been to, but still plenty good enough for me to go again. Weirdly, I was just totally running out of stamina a lot earlier into the night than I remember happening in the past. I feel like I missed a lot of the weirder sets on the smaller stages as I was just totally cooked. Not Primavera's fault, obviously. Maybe I'm just getting old - or maybe I need to pace my drinking better...   Anyway - is David Byrne a realistic get for next year? Certainly hoping so.
