Indyists define England via who England votes for why can't Scotland be defined in the same way.

Feel free. Just don't define us by who 3% of us vote for.

Interesting. I wonder if even the weather will be a factor. Its forecast to be pretty awful by the looks of things, i wonder who that’d benefit, if anyone.

I read yday on twitter there's been some studies on that and found that weather didn't make any difference.

Last election (2016) the polls overstated snp support in constituencies by over 4%, a repeat of that rues out a majority and probs means losing seats. It's all about whether the SNP can get their voters out their voting not saying they'd vote for them.

Tbh people are fairly apathetic towards holyrood elections generally, turnout is barely over half and I cannot see that changing much this year.

So, war with France then.

Sending the navy to protect Jersey and the fishing fleet is perfectly timed news for the night before an election.

They couldn’t have planned it any better if they tried.

Starmer needs to quickly declare that he would definitely nuke france if it comes down to it.

    • I'm surprised they risked it, especially after nearly missing their Glasto 22 slot under similar circumstances  I did see someome say Ellie didnt sound as strong as recently but I'm guessing playing 3 shows in 2 different continents doesnt help that    On the topic though I can definitely see them doing a Fontaines and having a break over winter before a few final Clearing shows next summer
    • That's fair on WA - I did recall people thinking Fontaines would take this year off before this was announced.    On the subject of Wolf Alice, they did Lollapalooza in Chicago on Saturday then Kendal Calling last night. Bit of an odd choice, no? Half imagine at Kendal that they would've been just exhausted.
    • Just logged onto the app to start planning my days and there really are a LOT of stages missing. Apart from the Seaside Stage there is no Casemates this year etc. Apart from the Seaside Stage, there are no Casemates this year, etc. Can't see anything about the kids field really. And there's local acts that are normally there like Kojak's Revenge that aren't appearing either.  Normally we get down fairly early but I can't see anything before 3pm I'm keen to see. Only one real clash as well, which is good, but it's thin and it's not thin in the sense of "I've seen a lot of these acts before"
