At least the good guys all came out and stood together in this, FIFA (corruption scandals), UEFA (corruption scandals) and the UK Government (lobbying/corruption scandals). At least there’ll be no greed in football without the ESL going ahead.

Isn’t it a bit weird to celebrate the conviction of somebody for a crime that has nothing to do with you? Regardless of the fame of the case. No better than joining the mob descending on a square in medieval times to go and cheer someone getting hung drawn and quartered.

We should all want to see justice being served in crimes that are nothing to do with us.

Yeah this ain't it. 

The reason this verdict is good is that it has the potential to be a precedent for future police killings and murders too. Ofc the main issue lies with the rotten system, and reform (or even the dismantling of the system) should still be the goal but the fact that a murderer got convicted of murder when it wasn't certain that he would is a good thing.

Yeah dude, as @Haan said, the George Floyd murder and the situations you're describing really aren't analogous. We all know who George Floyd was. We all know who Derek Chauvin was and what he did. And, sadly, we are all too aware of how difficult and unusual it is for black people to get the same level of justice that white people get. Last night's verdict was just a small, tiny step but it at least was one in the right direction.

Well, the guy did murder him, so it's not as if unfair or something...but I do know what you mean. Watched it live and the camera was on Chauvin the whole time as the guilty verdicts were called out and did feel a bit weird... But bigger picture, this doesn't usually happen when a white cop kills a black person, so it's a real historic moment.

 Is it normal to be living in fear over in Sweden over the police stopping you because of the color of your skin? Is it normal that the police will shoot first and ask questions later? Is it normal that police are not held accountable in your country? If the answer is no, THEN SHUT THE FUCK UP RIGHT NOW. This guy along with countless others deserve whats coming to them for what theyve done. It shouldnt have to be this way and all of us shouldnt have to be cheering this much over one small victory. 

Wanna tell me this person below doesnt deserve actual justice?
