BMJ  and public health England rebuking that New York Times Article.

"Ms Godlee said the paper's report was "seriously misleading and requires urgent correction".

She said the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) does not make any recommendation to mix and match."

Clarifies that only if the first dose is unknown would a different vaccine potentially be given. Also in "extremely rare" cases where it is unavailable.

I imagine it will be rare because they should know in advance what day they're booking people in for so can plan to have stock of whichever vaccine in for those people.

whilst the SNP would have the power to bring the government down they'd never really want to be seen as doing it.

except of course just a year ago they brought the govt down to bring about a massive tory victory. Also something they have form for in the past too.

For the SNP a tory govt in Westminster is better than a Labour govt in Westminster.

There is a difference between bringing down a Tory government and bringing down a Labour one, even if by bringing down the Tory one you allow them to make massive gains. Last December they also had the support of the Lib Dems and after the fact backing from Labour to avoid accusations of cowardice. Voting down a Labour Queen's Speech would be very different.

perhaps, but they've been happy to help do both in the past.

As I said the Labour minority government wouldn't necessarily last a full term and the SNP would certainly be looking for issues on which they could kick up a fuss without angering their base but I really don't think they could take the Scottish public with them when not allowing a Labour PM to replace a Tory one.

    • Yes. September still a very long away, keep the faith.
    • With Di Artze doing Nova Rock next year, if Foos are there too I think that puts pay to SOAD. I would think they would get SOAD if they could rather than Di Arte again 3 years later.
    • Not a great look for the festival that Saturday headlining slot. 21P management had to be very convincing…   Anyway, I still don’t know how to deal with this :   Matt Berninger is a must see but I’d like to see all four. Florence Road then Halsey should not be an issue, but I really doubt I’d be able to enter the Barn to see Matt.   And Matt’s set times means we miss a few minutes of Gorillaz and stay quite far from the Main stage.
    • Lovely stuff, cheers. Their EU tour poster for Jan/Feb next year says “more dates TBA” so if they’re playing here that’s preferable!
    • Muse new album out soon , European tour announcement for Nov and Dec, no Spanish date and north American tour starts in July and in North America for all of July and August. So primavera and Glastonbury
