FUCK THIS SHIT

In Greater Manchester we have been amongst the lowest rates and we get put in Tier 4. So fucking demotivating, cannot be arsed with this shite anymore.

its about the rises and hospital capacity too .... its no fun for anyone ... bear with it .... things will start improving in a month or 2 ..

100% within two weeks Matt

I think the tier system doesn’t bring numbers down at all. It’s clear the tories don’t want to introduce nationwide lockdown, so instead they introduce new tiers in places where numbers don’t go down. They will bring in a tier 5 instead of a nationwide lockdown.

it’s BS. Us in Manchester have had the harshest restrictions for almost 6 months, even when our cases have gone down restrictions haven’t been lifted.

We've had this in Norfolk where we've been put in tier 4 since Saturday but have relatively low cases compared to the rest of the country. Today we've been told our local hospitals might be used for places that may get overwhelmed in Essex but I thought part of going into tier 4 was the risk of the hospitals in the area being busy? It just doesnt add up

Come off it, Tier 3 was working for us and now we're being stuffed even harder. Anywhere other than the South is harshly treated.

This country at the moment is bloody useless, cant even follow rules and this is gonna go on and on.

Getting rates down and the reward is a higher tier and more limitations. Stating the obvious but this is shit and why they allowed Christmas is laughable. Its not gonna stop at this rate, most Brits are so evidently self-important, always bend and break rules and we never get any better.

Why allow the trains prior to Christmas from tier 4 london to the north. People, man.

We all have to be grateful for harsh restrictions and aren't allowed to complain at all

That is not working. It worked before lockdown, it's not working now.

    • Doesn't surprise me. West Yorkshire had a vote if they wanted a mayor in 2012 and voted no. The government then ignored the vote and announced the position anyway in 2016.

    • Also agree, it does feel that there isn’t much between the Mercury Prize and the Brit Awards these days.   This part sums it up for me “The complaint isn’t so much about the quality of the music, but more the disappearance of spaces for outsider voices in British music. With streaming algorithms feeling increasingly geared towards big names, and social media acting as a minefield, the Mercury’s pivot to the mainstream closes another door in the face of creative independence.”
