Robyn was still on the line up. I would of preferred Billie Eilish.

I know she was, I meant sub rather than Mumfords.

Foals doesn't sounds too bad now, does it eh?

Foals would be ideal anyhow. Mumfords though, Jesus. Though they assisted one of my favourite Glastonbury moments, giving us the crowd that Nick Cave scared shitless during Stagger Lee

So sounds like they are going with some of the 2021 acts they had pencilled in, so a mix of 2020 and 2021. I thought Emily was a bit coy on how they're going to bring together almost two years of festival to one.

Diana Ross looking likely with her tour dates and Macca the only act to get singled out on that interview. Taylor and Kendrick will be back in years to come as age is definitely on their side.

I'm still gonna root for Swift until she's definitely out of the picture. I imagine she'll announce rescheduled NA/SA dates over the next couple of months and we'll probably have a good idea at that point. Until then I'll go Arctics / Macca / Swift.

Although I did think the talk about making a cultural impact and not going safe was quite interesting. Makes me think they could be taking more gambles moving forward.

Either way, doesn't seem we'll get an announcement for quite a while.

I really feel confident about Billie. She’d be the youngest person to headline Glastonbury, which I think is a really big achievement. Especially with the youngest Glastonbury headliner being a woman.

My hopes for 2021 are that the pyramid has Paul, Billie, Dave, Lizzo - really think they are some extremely solid and current acts for the festival to book.

I think Billie is definitely on the cards, and strikes me as someone they may have approached quite far in advance (which seems to be the case with the pencilled in 2021 headliners).

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
