MJP
Walking boots covers the real possibility of very hard ground and a bit of flash mud. I had surgery 6 months ago on my foot, so not going to chance it and have got boots.
Charm
I’ll be bringing my wellies, boots and converse, best to have options. Charm x
marcwilson87
Walking boots and wellies and flip flops. Perfect combination for all eventualities
sime
Wellies. I wear them to the site and then have them in my tent if needed. One day I will get some walking boots but have to say, I have never had an issue with wellies myself.
Quark
I'll be giving it some welly, don't know if that counts?

joeruss
Bought a pair of wellies the other day but they're going back as I've just found a pair of waterproof walking boots I'll be bringing Hopefully with the sunshine we're going to have, I will only need them Weds, as the ground will dry out quick after Tuesdays downpour

redrog
In all my years I’ve only resorted to wellies once - in 2016 - and that was only because my walking boots developed a leak. I had a mild strop and a small cry when I accepted I had to throw them in the bin The only other occasion that really warranted wellies was 2007, and I’m not sure I could face that level of despair now that I’m 12 years older. I’d just leave I think This year I’m waiting to see what Tuesday night brings and unless it’s apocalyptic, the wellies will stay in the car. Peroni
Always wellies. I like to have them in the evening as they keep me warm!
MilkyJoe7
Are walking boots waterproof? I have a pair and they definitely aren't! I don't want to get trench foot.
Lubic
Wellies and trainers. Easy. Asking for trouble turning up at a festival without wellies or some decent walking boots.
srb
Always pack wellies regardless of forecast. I really should invest in walking boots though
dmedxb
I've packed wellies, hiking shoes (not boots) and trainers. Flight to the UK is tonight so have had to cover as many options as possible!
42hamlet
Always take wellies/another suitable heavy mud footwear option even if the weather is predicted to be a scorcher. Never hurts to be prepared
mpdow2
I get that I need to bring one of walking boots or wellies. But do I need to bring both or would walking boots suffice if we get some minor spells of heavy rain?
MetaKate
So I have a pair of 100% waterproof sneakers. Ive lugged my wellies all across Greece but im considering leaving them at my mate's place in London. I think I'll make a last minute call Monday based on weather. flyingmonkeypigs
Only once have I not taken wellies... that was 2007. safe to say I will be taking wellies
Dave_c
Walking boots are great when it's a bit of mud, but 2016 levels of mud it's wellies all day long for me, boots just don't cut the mustard when it gets really messy
