Yes it was them, the queue was always absolutely massive whenever I was in that area (from memory it was somewhere in that bit between Leftfield and the Pyramid, on the left hand side if approaching the pyramid, but I might be wrong on that) I will definitely give it a shot this year though.

Edit: Just found them on insta and that’s exactly where they were located:

My daughter has a dairy allergy - feel so guilty grating vegan cheese onto her pasta then whacking proper cheddar on mine. Poor girl.

Have you tried Asdas own vegan cheese? Of all the ones I have tried, their one is unexpectedly for me, one of the best. If you have tried it and didn't like it, then fair enough. For me though, their versions of cheddar and garlick and chive are now always my go to 'cheese'.

Second the cheddar and chive one, very good! I also love Morrisons sage and onion deli slices, makes for an excellent sandwich

In the general food vendors and traders thread.......

https://www.festifood.eu may be of interest. I'm starting to bring it up to date for this year and improve usability and so on. If anyone has any maps or other sources of info related to what stalls are where, I'm very grateful to receive. All the data on the map now is hand compiled by me and one other guy on foot on the Thursday of 2019.

Thought I'd try to coral the info, so started a list in googlesheets if anyone has more intel/suggestions, added a column for what3words/gmaps - could add when on the farm and inform the map @jefwefwefis updating....

Glasto Vegan is usually a good resource - I think they made a map although i'm not 100% sure on that.

Can anyone recommend a stall from previous years with really good vegan cooked breakfast. I've had people i've camped with mention there's normally a good one in the Greenfields somewhere and I think it'd be a really great way to start the day.

No Bones Jones and Fritter Shack are both confirmed for 2022.

Approx w3w locations (providing they have the same pitches which I understand they do) are:

NBJ - ///chitchat.barrel.dude
https://w3w.co/chitchat.barrel.dude

Fritter Shack - ///stiffly.limbs.unwraps

That’s probably Manic Organic I think….https://www.instagram.com/p/BzK3sxCg3o0/?utm_medium=copy_link

I have to declare an interest, but No Bones Jones are amazing. The business is run by my brother-in-law's family, and I've had lots of lovely food from them. Hugh really has a passion for what he's doing which is really inspiring, as well as delicious.

They have a cook book out soon too: http://www.gwales.com/goto/biblio/en/9781912631063/

We loved No Bones Jones in 2019. Lovely people and the food was *chefs kiss*

We finally got round to trying the little cafe in permaculture last year. Such a happy little place and the food was delicious as well as being very reasonably priced.

Getting to eat your scran off an actual plate feels like a decadent bonus too - after a few days from eating out of paper & card containers.

Yes I found that place in 2017 and made sure I returned in 2019.

Reading this thread has made me hungry.  And also made me think that I'll probably be eating a lot of veggie/vegan food as I do like it a lot - maybe it will kick start me doing more at home too.

that'll likely be Manic Organic, as someone else stated above - its a great brekky, my only possible criticism is that its so filling and satisfying it'll potentially make you skip lunch, and i dont want to do that because i'm very greedy and want to eat all of the things that take my eye 😆

That's one of the problems isn't it? You have to think long and hard about what you're going to eat as there are only so many meals/snacks you can fit into the time available.

precisely. And i'm liable to get into the situation of seeing too many things i really fancy, not being able to fit them in at the time, and then never getting round that way again when hungry. I'm still thinking of the fries with a marmite topping i missed out on in 2019 cos i couldnt find the bloody stall again . . . .

i'm going to be having a vegan day at glastonbury this year, i typically have a couple of days of only veggie food there cos its so good, and its nice to try different stuff - and i prefer keeping meat as an occasional, and not as a staple. the vegan fried chick'n was much raved about by my mates in 2019 so i'll very definitely be giving that a bash - i'd love it right now!
