  1. Likewise. They're pretty big in terms of their tent, seems likely they'd be back as they are obviously cooking a lot of meals and presumably making decent money.
  2. you got any contact info for Lulu's? insta or FB or whatever?
  3. Ta. It's all old 2019 data that's gonna get wiped, though. I won't copy over the 2019 data as a lot of it will be wrong.
  4. Sure, it already does (for the 2019 data). Go to https://www.festifood.eu/ Click the menu thing on the left Click "desserts" ??? Profit
  5. Glastonbury actually had one of the first big 5g networks in 2019 and it was top10 in terms of cities in the country while the festival was on in terms of data transit thru the network. 2022 can only be busier in terms of data: more ppl on insta, more ppl on tiktok (although god knows why at glastonbury, but they will be). On an unrelated note, I'm making great progress on my custom site map for festifood. I'll probably have some nice new cartography to show off within a week or so, once I've finessed the styling.

    Drum'n'Bass

post-midnight the common tends to be mostly DnB/jungle and some other bits. Certainly the temple and the rum shack. I'm a DnB head myself and that's where I'll be spending my early mornings I think.
  7. I think just wandering around is a pretty bad way to spend time at the festival. Perhaps it's just my personal style, but whenever I've just decided to have a stroll and see what's what, I've usually ended up just a) walking miles b) not seen anything particularly good because I was wandering aimlessly and not to a particular area. I think a slight modification of: wander to a specific area/tent without any knowledge and see what's what on the way, that I think works well but true aimless wondering is mostly wasted time. There's a lot of chat about "magic moments", but the reality is that the majority of the festival is a noisy, busy bunch of markets and people ramming past following their clashfinder routes, there's very little actual peace to be had. I think it really depends a lot on the time of day, too.
  8. That'll be lynda's loaf. I've not confirmed their return, yet, will ping them now. /edit maybe not, as Lynda's is a bakery so probably doesnt do morning potatoes. In that case I don't know as I don't have a complete record from 2019 and I'm still trying to get the 2022 list together, sorry.
  9. There's also lynda's loaf in there.
  10. Do you just mean the greenpeace cafe?
  11. Anyone who trades outside the festival will almost certainly have had to move to card over the last couple of years. Randos in the craft field? Shrug. Pay in sheep skins and pints of moonshine as usual I guess?

    Glastocam!

Cash and fistfulls of AAA passes, I'm sure.
  13. The 2019 list is up at https://www.festifood.eu . It's a partial list, though, as we collected it all by hand on the ground on the first day of the fest, then got on with boozing.
  14. Yeah it's not as if everyone else on site is being paid top dollar. Some are, for sure: various security, structural, power, safety etc stuff can't be got on the cheap (and shouldnt be) but all the artists take a huge paycut, the vast majority of the staff on site are unpaid, etc. No reason the same can't be true for some of the digital services they need to put the fest on. It's a prestige project, after all, and fantastic marketing.
