If they've only kept one headliner it cant be Gallagher AND Rage. Rage have headlined before too.

Big doubt on that one Dan.

Melvin's interview was all like "its a shame we can't get Rage again bla bla bla bla".... Imagine hes been having everyone on?

NME interview definitely made it sound like rage aren't coming back, "It would have been very special for me to see them again, but the great thing about Reading & Leeds is that it doesn’t stand still. You probably could have picked about 50-100 other acts that would have been more important to everyone else. We’re always happy to have a nod to the past, but we live in today and tomorrow. We never stop moving on."

Forgot about that 😭

I think either Melvin or Dan is having us on.

Have to go back to work (running a bar on a Bank Holiday sucks) so here's your headliners...

LG // Billie Eilish // Lewis Capaldi // Panic at the Disco (unmentioned solo act, realised after it had been suggested) // Dua Lipa // RATM (yep)

Dan, if you’re lying I’m going to be so upset, I just want RATM that is it

Brendons a w*nker but they made great music back when it was a band

I can tolerate some of their older stuff but idk, it's just one of those bands I dislike and love to dislike typa thing. I'd be going to see someone else on another stage anyways so wouldn't bother me but if they have the chance to get BMTH, Foals etc (ik they've headlined before etc) it seems just weird

    • There is possibly a weak link in the ticket buying system, no matter how clever the technical controls get. I just spent 20 minutes this morning hammering the ‘Buy Tickets’ button while the web page kept telling me there weren’t enough tickets remaining to meet my request. Eventually it changed its mind and let me buy two tickets. Most likely because of failed payments in the queue ahead of me. So - just like it did in the good old F5 days - pig-headed blind persistence can sometimes pay off.   BTW, the tickets were for the Whispering Bob Harris evening in the Albert Hall on 2nd December.
    • All I'm asking for is Rancid
    • MGK would probably end my interest in this festival completely.
    • The basement, deafheaven, Mannequin pussy clash is v annoying. Also not sure why pinkpantheress is in the tent, surely going to be ramos.
    • It's just this:   Search up which orgs are currently in Tufton St, funded by Koch Brothers, Robert Mercer, and Matthew Elliot.   It's moved on from "Vote Leave" and "Leave Means Leave" into the lobbyists against net zero. It's the same funding from the same people in the same place lobbying our media and politicians.
