Snippet of a new tune called “Hungry Child” on Instagram.

Coooool. I expect they'll play that and possibly more tonight on the Beeb.

I might have a couple of spares, just waiting on a confirmed no from a couple of people.

Any word on these possible spares? I know that I would be super keen if they are floating around...

Listening to over and over I feel I voted for the wrong song on the best song thread. It's one of those songs that I feel was overplayed and springs to mind as one of the only songs casual listeners name. Then you hear it again and realise what a fucking tune it is

WH in 2015 was ace. But if they bring that to The Park this year it'll be even better.

(apart from Dancing In The Dark/All My Friends that is. That won't be topped)

I was there in 15 and I think if they cover Sabotage again it will kick off. Loving a little unexpected Sunday night boogie to this

That cover of Sabotage though. They’re such a great live band at this point. Damn I can’t wait until Saturday.

They make it look so easy and calm on stage as well

    • Came here to post that.   Not based on any info, can just see it happening.
    • I'm not sure about the entrance but it wouldn't be a surprise to find the festival have secured use of the land from Steanbow who own it for either new CV space, or for authorised off-site camping as they did with Worthy View.  An authorised off-site pitch-your-own with decent facilities priced just below WV would fly off the shelves as an option.
    • Burnham needs to hold onto his seat , plus needs labour to hold onto all those other seats that could go Reform, so I think some blue labour stuff might stay...and it will be back to the tactic of hoping enough left/liberal voters will get behind labour and not go Green in order to stop a Reform govt...obviously wasn't working with Starmer, but might with Burnham if he shows enough leg. Have to see, Burnham is going from a cushty job where he's very popular and seen as successful to probably the most difficult job going, prime minister of this country...and his popularity might not last long when people realise he can't fix all the problems over night. What he can do is give a sense of direction and optimism which is badly needed, but he will also be faced with a whole bunch of nasty trade offs and could be where Starmer is now in a matter of months.
    • Yep, The Cure and The xx are the two most painful misses for me this year. The Cure literally plays at every corner, except the one I attend to.
