briddj
Clear evidence of an Azores ridge next weekend now. It could build the pressure at just the right time (or could just skulk off again.....)
Ommadawn
Just had 10 minutes of heavy rain. Easing off now though

tumbles
Given the shite we’ve had up the road most of the day if this is the only hit they’ve had then again Pilton has come off very well
Ohinever
Just as I picked tickets up too. Hopefully not an omen.
briddj
The latest run has it much warmer at the start - we're talking 19 on Weds, 20 on Thurs, and 22 on Fri. NO rain on the charts. But low pressure comes back in as we head to Saturday and we're back to 18 that day with a bit of rain around on Sat and Sun. Much colder on the Sunday at 15-16. So we are getting improvements around that ridge of high pressure. We just need it to stay strong for a few days longer. This is immeasurably better than what we had at this time yesterday! gherkin8r
This weekend is meant to be as bad as it gets for the next 7 days. Better that it's now rather than later and the ground has a chance to recover.

Think it was about 6 hours. I remember my brother calling me as he'd seen it on the news but luckily we were on higher ground in Dragon Field so were nice and dry in the tent

Doug85
https://www.gavsweathervids.com Gav's newest update for next week and part of Glastonbury is certainly looking a lot more promising today. Possible thunderstorms this week but nothing too concerning. Even mention of an Azores high on the Wednesday of the gates opening. Lets hope for more of this!

I’m not a pessimist though - I have every faith that it’s going to be the best Glastonbury ever.
