This is the least organised I've ever been for a festival. Glastonbury organisation starts weeks in advance but lots of things have got in the way so BT organisation starts today... I've basically got this afternoon to sort out the campervan plus gear and the kid's stuff.

Glad to hear the weather's good. Should I risk it and leave the wellies behind?

I'll try and make the Efests meet and say hello.

Late planning !

Years ago we had agreed to meet a friend of a friend and go down to V Fest 2004 ish in a convoy from Yorkshire.

Despite having months to plan said person had not done anything so two hours before we were due to set off he was in the local camping shop buying brand new tent , sleeping bag  - he basically asked the shop assistant to help him out with a festival pack and handed over his credit card.  We decided we weren't going to wait for him.

We met them in the car park at V and he was in a brand new £90k Range Rover - turns out his mate was a service  manager at the local dealership and they borrowed one for the weekend in case the car parks were muddy wheras   3 of us were crammed into a tiny hatchback full to the brim with camping gear and booze

bit earlier than I'd have liked...

Really?!? When was this? I'm at work so I have  no access to other social media platforms. I'm loving the fact he's on earlier than I planned, it means I don't have to stay sober so I can remember and cherish the moment. Party starts at the efests meet!!

Hey all first time at the fest. I'm not far away so gonna head over after work to set tent up and leave the missus with her kid then go after school on Fri with a couple more!

Couple of questions. I heard it was a nightmare parking up last year. I'm hoping to get in quick around 630 pm so just wondered if I'm living in Dreamland with that 1?

Also are there showers anywhere on site?

Cheers!

Hello, you’re gonna love it. Ace festival.

BT are brilliant at fixing things that didn’t work the previous year. They have invested in parking, so be sure it’ll be right this year. I’d say at 6.30pm you’ll be fine, but I do have no experience of arriving at that time.

Yeah there are showers.never used them, but some of me pals have. Busy of mornings, as per the norm.

Festival is great for kids too. The little one will love it. Not as much as us adults though.

Have a great time dude

Do you know this or are you hoping it? I'm hoping you know

Both bands announced times on their own pages

And it seems music starts earlier that previously stated 9pm, as one of the bands announced they are opening the woodland at 4pm
